Professor Jovo Bakić of the winning Student List says Serbia's new government will not impose sanctions on Russia, despite Vučić's claims that it would happen within months.
"We respect Russia both as a great power and as our historically important partner, and in many cases even our protector. There will be no changes there," Bakić told RT Balkan.
Having lived through UN sanctions in the 1990s, Serbs know "what kind of misery that is," he said. Sanctions from a small country like Serbia would change nothing for Russia, since even the entire EU failed to harm it, but they would damage relations and hurt Serbia itself. "I said this during the election campaign, and I'm saying it after the elections."

Aleksandar Vučić, head of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS)-led United Serbia list, said the Student List has won, based on a stratified sample. He estimates the Student List at 135 to 140 of 250 seats and his bloc at around 105, with no other list entering parliament. By his figures, the Student List got about 2.2 million votes to United Serbia's 1.72 million.
Vučić called the result the "confirmation of a revolution" backed by several EU countries, and claimed the Student List will impose sanctions on Russia by spring.
Official results are still pending.

It’s difficult to interpret why the delegates from the Mecca Agreement went to visit Iran today, and it will upset the Americans a great deal. The Mecca Agreement was set up because Saudi felt that American protection was not working for them, as they saw Iran and then Ansarallah bombing their infrastructure virtually at will. The attacks by the US from Saudi soil, alongside attacks from the soil of other Gulf Monarchies, brought carnage on those concerned. However, the Mecca Agreement has not stopped Anrarallah from attacking Riyadh, Yanbu, Rabigh, Dammam, Najran, and Khamis Mushait, and their infrastructure is being badly damaged, not to mention their finances. This period is a time of existential crisis for Saudi and in particular the House of Saud. If the US (and Israel) decide to launch a full scale attack on Iran, Iran will not cease to exist as a State, but the Gulf States very well could. They will be left with no oil infrastructure, no gas (hello Qatar) and no water, all economic and social life would cease to exist.
My guess, and it’s only a guess, is that they wish to form some sort of agreement with Iran. This will be against US (and Israel) wishes, but it is a time of crisis, not leisurely pontificating. Why not have an agreement with Iran that indemnifies them against military retaliation for Americas violence? In return of course, the Iranians will demand enormous concessions from Saudi, and in particular with their dealings with Yemen. I suspect this forms part of the talks. If so it will deal a final blow to the Southern groups who will suddenly find their finances cut off. The UAE will not step in as Iran and Ansarallah will start on their infrastructure, much easier and less widespread to hit.
The Saudis didn’t send just an ordinary official to Tehran, they sent Khalid Bin Salman, one of its most important ruling figures. He didn’t go their for a jolly.
On top of all this activity, in the last forty-eight hours, Iran (IRG) launched more than a hundred ballistic missiles as part of a military exercise, putting to bed the idea spread by the Empire that they are running out of missiles. The exercise shows the depth of Iran’s military arsenal and it’s massive manufacturing capabilities, despite the war losses and sanctions.
As Israel goes to the polls, and as Drumf starts to realise he could lose both Houses and face impeachment, things are looking a little spicy. The US will be pissed. Watch this space.

اللي حصل كان معجزة بكل المقاييس. الناس نزلت تمشي على رجلها عشان تصوت. ولأول مرة في تاريخ البرازيل الحديث، اللي يخسر أول جولة يكسب الإعادة. لولا كسب 51.8% بفارق أكتر من 4 مليون صوت ورجع في ولاية رابعة.
يعني في 24 ساعة بس: البرازيل قلبت على ترامب، صربيا وقعت حليف نتنياهو، جيش الاحتلال اتمرد على نتنياهو، وإيران قاعدة مع السعودية وتركيا وباكستان على ترابيزة واحدة!
اللي جاي شكله مختلف تماما، وربنا يجعلها بداية نهاية الغطرسة !
