Since the 18th century, Jews in North Africa and across the Ottoman Empire have celebrated the end of Passover with their Muslim neighbors. Mimouna was also known as Leyl Hametz in Syria, or in Iraq, as Santak Khadra.
As the sun sets on the final night, Muslims return chametz, or leavened bread products, back to Jewish homes, where these foods were prohibited during the holiday. Jews then host joyous gatherings, eating chametz-filled treats like mofleta and dancing and singing.

Execution
The State of Israel executes Palestinian prisoners through starvation, torture, and degrading conditions of detention. In many cases, this happens without trial and without guilt. This is a sentence that is predetermined solely because of their ethnic origin.
Khalil Awadeh, a father of four, was detained under administrative detention in December 2021 he went on a hunger strike for six months until his body collapsed. When he was finally released, in a serious physical condition, neurologist Dr. Bettina Birmans (from the Physicians for Human Rights Association) stated:
“He can barely move his limbs, cannot complete sentences, suffers from weakness and pain throughout his body, memory loss, and worsening visual acuity.”
In early March 2026, Awadeh was arrested again.
Despite being disabled and unable to walk on his own, and despite zero danger level.
His trial was repeatedly postponed as an instrument of torture.
The state executes people.
Slowly.
In the dark.
Away the public eyes.
The executioners do not need any law backing.
They operate under the protection of apartheid laws.
Occupation.

Stop with using anti-Semitism it is being made meaningless. I suggest that you refrain from throwing it around. Considering what Israel is doing and has been doing then protests will happen. Imagine how frightened those children are in the firing line.
I have been made aware of a spontaneous so-called ‘anti-Zionist’ protest that took place in Hendon earlier this evening. The protesters chose to demonstrate at the heart of a quiet residential neighbourhood with a large Jewish community that is still in shock from the despicable antisemitic attack on Hatzola Golders Green, less than a mile away. At a time when the community is already frightened, they have sought to make things worse. It’s utterly appalling, completely unacceptable and clearly antisemitic. I am liaising closely with the CST and Police and thank them for their rapid action.
