I've not posted in a good while but here's an awesome find from our woodchip piles - a slow worm! These funky fellas love warm, damp piles of organic detritus to sleep and lay eggs! #NaturePhotography #nature #slow #worm #outdoors #education @SayersCroft_
As summer draws to a close, I took this picture of a #honey #bee having a good meal on our #sunflowers in the garden @SayersCroft_. Here's to a *hopefully* nice autumn! #nature #outdoors #flowers #gardening
A Grey Heron (?) spotted fishing along the Afon Llugwy @swallowfalls. We also saw a big fish jumping its way down the waterall just before which was awesome! #nature #water #waterfall #heron #bird #fish #wales #animals #river
Blue's not quite your colour mate! A very lost Speckled Bush Cricket on our bin @SayersCroft_ #nature #lost #insect #cricket #outdoors #teaching #education
Look at this funky character! The #catapillar of the European Sycamore #moth. Found by staff @SayersCroft_ #nature #outdoors #discovery #learning #biodiversity

I am very grateful to be mentioned in the ECMs Newsletter alongside the other @SayersCroft_ New Starters! Thank you @CityWestminster!
Helping as an assessor on a Bronze DofE practice walk across Blackheath down to Cranleigh with @SCTrust and Glebelands School. A brilliant day out even if it did rain for 90%! #dofe #dukeofedinburgh #outdoors #education #naviagtion #maps

One of the pair of Moorhens we have strutting their stuff @SayersCroft_; I believe this is the female as it the smaller of the two. #moorhen #birds #pond #naturephotograpahy #nature #outdoor #education #wildlife

**Sound on** to hear a badger really enjoying his snack.
The garden team at Polesden Lacey were wondering what was eating the Jerusalem artichokes in the vegetable garden. So they set up a wildlife camera to catch the culprit. And now they know!

Bluebell season! We also have some rarer white bluebells too @SayersCroft_ #bluebells #nature #outdoors #instructor #education
We built a nest for a 'mouse' yesterday to see how moss/sticks/leaves insulate them during hibernation. Although it was part of my nature activity training, I find myself enjoying it like the children it is meant for! @SayersCroft_ #outdoors #instructor #training
