Every AI assistant you've used has the same blind spot: It doesn't know what you did yesterday.
You open ChatGPT, and you're starting from zero. Again. Re-explaining the project, re-pasting the context, re-establishing who "Sarah" is.
Littlebird was built to fix exactly that.

JUST IN: MIDNIGHT BEAT ZCASH ON TRANSACTIONS BY MORE THAN 2X IN A SINGLE DAY
Privacy blockchain Midnight processed a record 49,229 transactions on October 25. Zcash, another privacy-focused coin, handled 20,445 that day.
Midnight's mainnet has now logged 954,434 transactions in total.
Great question @DraftmanC 👍
Well you're close, but not quite the same.
Both are DePIN and both turn stuff you already own into AI infrastructure, which is why it feels similar at first glance. But the actual job is different:
🔋 @grass → you share spare "bandwidth". The network uses it to scrape public web data for AI training. You’re basically lending your internet pipe.
🔋 @Acurast → your phone’s "processor" actually runs workloads (jobs, APIs, inference, etc.) inside the phone’s secure hardware (TEE). It’s real compute, and the results can be proven correct without the phone owner seeing the private data.
So Grass is more “idle connection → data collection.” Acurast is “idle phone → secure processing power.” Same energy of using everyday devices, different resource being sold.
Love that you’re digging into it, the distinction is what makes both interesting.

Hashrate has been quietly climbing for weeks.
The schedule underneath stays fixed. More energy securing the same rules.
#ETC
Ethereum Classic hashrate, up ~38% since September.🔥
Sept 1: ~150 TH/s
Oct 25: ~207 TH/s
More hashrate. More energy. More security.

BIG UPDATE: I am officially stepping into a new Web3 role.
The project?
FBYT.
I am proud to announce that I am now officially an ambassador for @FBYTio.
FBYT is building an on-chain asset management platform on Solana, designed to connect investors with strategy managers through transparent, non-custodial vaults and verifiable on-chain performance.
For me, this is more than adding another title to my bio.
I will be creating content that makes FBYT easier to understand, including:
🔸 Simple explainers on how the platform works.
🔸 Product walkthroughs and feature breakdowns.
🔸 Updates on the FBYT ecosystem.
🔸 Community highlights.
🔸 Insights for users exploring on-chain asset management.
If you have not been paying attention to FBYT yet, this is your sign to start.
Keep a close watch on:
🔸X (formerly twitter):xitter.cf/FBYTio
I have plenty more to share as this journey unfolds.

Most people can name Midnight's privacy tech. Almost nobody can name its consensus plan. Let's fix that.
Right now, Midnight blocks are produced by a fixed set of network authorities taking turns; a model called AURA. Predictable and stable, but by design permissioned: you can't just join and start producing blocks.
The official roadmap targets a staged migration to BABE, the block-production mechanism Cardano itself uses. Instead of a fixed queue, producers are chosen slot by slot in a random, stake-weighted lottery.
Why that matters:
▫️Decentralization - block production opens beyond a small authority set.
▫️Cardano SPOs - per midnight.network/night, Cardano stake pool operators can act as validators and earn NIGHT for securing the chain. A second revenue stream for an operator community that already runs thousands of pools.
It pairs with the Q1 2027 staking target; delegation only means something if there's a wider set of producers to delegate to.
One honest caveat: this is a roadmap target, not a live feature. There's no BABE migration claim form, no early-staking portal. Any site saying otherwise is after your keys.
Consensus is invisible when it works. But it decides who gets to write history, and on a chain built for selective disclosure, who writes the blocks matters as much as what they can see.

🚨BIG NEWS: Anthropic has filed for IPO TODAY, potentially setting the stage for one of the LARGEST stock market debuts in history, per Bloomberg.
The AI giant reportedly aims to match or surpass SpaceX's record $75 BILLION IPO.
However, its expected valuation has FALLEN to $1.5T–$1.75T from earlier estimates of $2T or more, despite quarterly revenue surging nearly 50% to $16.8 BILLION.
Investor marketing could begin the week of November 9, with trading potentially starting before Thanksgiving.
The listing could become a major test of investor appetite for AI amid growing concerns over the sector's massive spending.

Starstream is the track on @MidnightNtwrk's roadmap almost nobody can explain. Here's my attempt in plain English.
Blockchains keep their records in different ways. Cardano treats coins like separate notes (the UTXO model). Ethereum keeps balances like a bank account. Apps built for one don't move easily to the other.
Starstream is a language and zero-knowledge VM designed so any chain can adopt it. Midnight's roadmap calls this track "programmable privacy across state models".
On the roadmap for Q4 2026, there's one item: "Runtime decision with mock ledger". My reading: deciding how Starstream will run, and testing it on a simulated ledger first.
No Q1 2027 date yet. This is the research track.
It's open source, and anyone can follow it being built on GitHub.
Builders: if one contract could run on any chain with privacy built in, which chain would you deploy to first?
Track 6 on Midnight's roadmap: midnight.network/roadmap
Starstream on GitHub: github.com/LFDT-Nightstream/…
I build on @MidnightNtwrk with AI tools every day. Track 5 of the roadmap is the first one written for people like me.
Midnight calls it Reach, Cross-Chain & Dev Growth: extending privacy cross-chain.
Q4 2026:
• Cross-chain expansion
• Mobile SDK
• AI DevEx for builders
• Offer files
Q1 2027:
• More chains, private
• Midnight MCP and an advanced AI expert
• Build without code
• Cross-chain liquidity unlock
The AI lines are the big deal for builders. Right now my stack is [Claude Code + Midnight Expert + Kapa MCP]. The hard part is [one real pain point, e.g. AI tools not knowing current Compact syntax].
A first-party Midnight MCP means your AI assistant can work from Midnight's own docs and tools directly, instead of guessing.
And the cross-chain lines mean the privacy doesn't stay on Midnight. Other chains' users get to use it too.
Builders: what would you want a Midnight MCP to do first?

If you missed $ETC Community Call #62, here's a recap of the key topics discussed.
The team explored how quantum computing could affect blockchain security, why preparing for future cryptographic challenges matters, and how hash-based signatures could play a role in post-quantum security.
Kevin shared a beginner-friendly Core-Geth installation guide to help more community members set up a node and contribute to the network.
The discussion also covered Google BigQuery, which gives the community access to ETC blockchain data for analyzing transactions, smart contracts, addresses, and network activity using SQL.
On the development side, the team discussed upcoming Core-Geth releases, the Olympia proposal, and network configuration changes, highlighting the importance of code reviews, transparent development, and community consensus.
Native stablecoins were another key topic. Issuing stablecoins directly on ETC could reduce reliance on bridges, open up more opportunities for trading and DeFi, and make institutional integration easier.
The team also explored transaction preconfirmations and their potential to make $ETC payments more practical by giving merchants an earlier indication that a transaction is expected to be included in a future block.
From quantum security to everyday payments, the call offered plenty to think about regarding Ethereum Classic's technical direction and future adoption.

🇯🇵 UPDATE: Japan’s PM Sanae Takaichi will lead a cybersecurity meeting as mounting cyberattacks cause large-scale data leaks.
Midnight is now the first privacy-preserving blockchain supported by @dynamic_xyz, a @FireblocksHQ company.
For normal users, this changes how you enter the ecosystem:
▫️Embedded Midnight wallets from an email or social login; non-custodial, MPC-based, no browser extension to install.
▫️One wallet, three surfaces: unshielded (public), shielded (private), and DUST (the resource that pays transaction fees).
▫️Transfers route by address prefix: send to an mn_addr... address and it draws from the unshielded pool; send to mn_shield... and it's a shielded transfer.
Why this matters to me:
Privacy infrastructure only counts if ordinary people can reach it. Most people I teach meet Web3 on a mid-range Android phone. Removing the extension download and the 12-word ritual removes the biggest drop-off point, without the keys moving into someone else's custody.
One detail builders should not miss:
The docs confirm cross-pool transfers (unshielded to shielded in one send) are not supported yet. If you're building, plan your shield/unshield UX around that now.
