I didn't even know this happened. ๐ฅน๐
Two nights ago on Sunday, a friend messaged me on WhatsApp saying he had stumbled upon something interesting and heard my name mentioned in connection with a TVC news report.
He didn't actually watch the broadcast when it aired. He was watching a TikTok video and stumbled upon the account of the guy who recorded the original encounter with the policemen.
That's how he eventually discovered the TVC news report.
I was confused at first. Then I found out that a reply I had posted on Twitter X weeks earlier had been featured in a TVC News report.
My emotions were all over the place. ๐ I was scared at first, then I got goosebumps, and eventually I became genuinely excited.
I first posted the broadcast on my WhatsApp status, and that's when things became even funnier. ๐
Several of my contacts told me they had actually watched the broadcast when it aired. Someone else said they had seen it online later.
But none of them realised it was me. ๐ญ๐คฃ
Apparently, they didn't know that Emmanuel was also part of my name. ๐๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ
My full name has always been Musa-Tolani Rotimi Emmanuel. So they were watching and thinking, โWho is this Emmanuel?โ ๐ญ๐
I honestly can't blame them. I don't even know the full names of some of my friends. ๐
Even the friend who eventually notified me asked me, โWaitโฆ Emmanuel is in your name too?โ ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I burst out laughing ๐๐๐
I later found the full broadcast on TVC News' Facebook page, and I decided to keep it here as one of those unexpected moments I'll always remember.
I wasn't looking for publicity when I wrote that reply. I was simply expressing my thoughts.
From an ordinary reply on X to hearing my name on television. Life is funny sometimes. ๐ฅน๐บโค๏ธ

Said this in my last space.
Any one causing nuisance to society should not be in jail, they should be farming or mining.
Extreme cases should be hanging.
๐ง๐ซ TRAORE BANS PRISONS IN BURKINA FASO.
In a bold shift, Ibrahim Traorรฉ has announced that petty offenders will no longer sit idle in prisons.
Instead, they will work on state farms producing food for the nation as part of their sentence. The more hardwork one offers, the more reduction of the sentence in the prison.
His message was clear:
Keeping petty offenders locked up is a waste of both time and national resources.
Already, over 4,000 inmates are being trained to become farmers, turning punishment into productivity.

Yes it is indeed blessed, just that most times, we tend to misunderstand one another, creating menaces and division among tribes, not withstanding that we are all one in front of the creator.

I saw a video of a guy requesting for police identification before he cooperates with them (as he should ๐๐ฟ).
I posted my comment under the video.

In the 13th century, the people of Mali reportedly built their meeting house with a roof so low that nobody could stand upright. The idea was to prevent anyone from jumping up in anger during heated arguments.
Now imagine Nigeria's politicians holding their meetings in such a building.....Should our lawmakers adopt this design to control their tempers? YES or NO

One of the craziest fanbase is actually in Italian league. You wonโt like what they will do to you if they turn against you.
Theyโre boycotting as a protest against Lazio president Claudio Lotito. They have been doing it since January. The only game they didnโt boycott is the derby and the situation is much deeper than ordinary football frustration.
The supporters, mostly the ultras, have been boycotting home matches to pressure him into selling the club.
Let me tell you why. They think he Lacks ambition. They believe he has failed to invest sufficiently in the squad to make Lazio competitive for major trophies. Which is true, when last did you see Lazio sign a big player?
Another thing is he is selling important players. The likes of Ciro Immobile, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson, have left. Youโre not signing, yet youโre selling the few bright spark. If you check Lazio of 2000s you will understand their frustration.
Also there have been years of tension, with supporters accusing the president of disrespecting the clubโs identity and ignoring their concerns.
But now the situation is almost out of hand. The ultras arenโt simply demanding better signings again. They want Lotito to sell Lazio.
Funny enough, Lazio are actually doing brilliantly on the pitch. Gattuso is doing magic, they look like they can even compete for the league. Theyโre second on the table and havenโt lost any game so far.
Yet the supporters are still refusing to attend home games. Season-ticket sales went from nearly 30,000 to around 4,600. Funny thing is, they still travel in large numbers to away matches to support the players.
In other words, theyโre deliberately sacrificing the atmosphere at their own stadium to make a statement to the owners. They just want him gone.
Man U fans should learn one or two here.
