John Justine Pambalu, CHADEMA’s Director of Training, Organisation and Elections, was arrested in Arusha on the 10th of October 2026.
He was transferred to Dar es Salaam and was brought before the Kisutu Resident Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 21st October 2026.
Just like Tundu Lisu, Comrade John Justine is also facing fabricated charges of treason.
Pambalu becomes the second CHADEMA leader to face fabricated treason charges.

The Pan African Solidarity Network has come across a tweet by @MadederiOG , a well known public figure in the circles of President Paul Kagame, the President of Rwanda, asking Museveni's killer son not to allow Kagame's critics to seek asylum in Uganda. It is now in public knowledge that East Africa dictators are running an abductions syndicate, they are using to abduct and assassinate critics. We must not keep quiet on this matter.
On the most recent case of transnational repression in Uganda is the murder of Sergeant Major Robert Kabera.
He is a former Rwandese General, a critic of President Paul Kagame.
He has been found murdered in Kamengo Uganda, where he was building his home.
For the past five years, he has been trying to get better protection,( see image 2 and Image 3)
According to information, he stayed overnight at the property, and his body was discovered the following morning with his head severed and missing.
The circumstances surrounding this horrific killing remain unclear.
We are seeking further details.

The Ugandan authority must do a quick investigation and transparency around the murder of Robert.
