I agree that Jack Lowden is talented, which is why I don’t think he should be locked to the Bond franchise — he’ll only get to show a fraction of what he does on Slow Horses. I still think Callum Turner has the better Bond look. Lowden would make for a great Bond villain though.
I hope somebody at Marvel Studios is screenshotting every image from the past 4 years of Beyoncé wearing white and putting it on the moodboard for Emma Frost’s outfits.
Out of these two, Callum Turner is the better choice by far. He has the look and is more of a blank slate. Jack Lowden is too funny and quirky to be locked to a franchise like Bond for years on end. Also, Callum comes with the package of Dua Lipa singing the next Bond theme.
It’s the final countdown for the next James Bond. Screen tests are wrapped, and it looks like a straight shootout between Jack Lowden and Callum Turner.
Lowden brings the sharp, gritty, chaotic charisma. Turner brings the towering, classic, rugged swagger.
And since this isn't going to be a safe, formulaic reboot, Villeneuve's entire focus is on the intensity, depth, and true psychological anchor.
People get on my nerves.
There are homeless folk taking up space, doing crack on the stairs of the train station exit. But instead of moving briskly along, people are walking slow and gawking. MOVE ALONG! Let them people do their crack and let me get outta the damn station.
Damn. Mariah kept a lot of the vocals from the 1997 version of “Lead the Way” in the final song. And understandably so.
Nope. This person is not crazy. Halloween to many people has just become fancy dress — especially celebrities. And it is tired. If you are gonna do fancy dress at least make it Halloween. Zombiefy the look. Make it spooky. SOMETHING.
