🚨🚨 | 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Chelsea are showing STRONG INTEREST in Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is set to leave Real Madrid. Xabi Alonso is KEEN to reunite with the 28-year-old defender. 👀 [@siphillipssport, @GraemeBailey]

Wait, so Chelsea are the only team that have given this PSG side a proper beating?

Maturing is realising that the formula wasn’t Enzo Maresca, it was just simply Chelsea. That’s why we defeated PSG.

This is what a £100m signing should look like man. They're still recording sprints, distance covered and tackles won for Wirtz and Barcola 😭😭😭 xitter.cf/SaadVId2/status/210899…

🚨🇧🇷 Maresca on João Pedro: “The physical part is important. When you are not 100%, it is difficult to compete”. “João’s going to score goals and give us assists. He is not going to score 20 goals a year. He's a different striker profile”.

He went from a Champions League and Europa League winning Aston Villa side to a club that's won the Champions League, Europa League, Club World Cup and many more. How are fans of a club with zero European trophies lecturing him about big clubs? 😭

Yesterday is the last time Arsenal will beat Chelsea in a long time. The reverse fixture at the Bridge will be hell and I think their fans know it too 😂

🚨🔵 We are not appreciating Xabi Alonso enough. A lot of fans are so focused on finding the negatives that they forget to look at the context. In just three games, Alonso has already had to use Lavia, Reece James and Malo Gusto in midfield because of the situation we have in that area. And somehow, we still won two of those three games and pushed Arsenal all the way at the Emirates. Think about that for a second. Alonso is having to find solutions for problems that were already there, and he’s doing a lot to mask our weaknesses and keep the team competitive. Give the man some credit. 🔵

🚨🔵 I genuinely love what I’m seeing from this Chelsea team under Xabi Alonso. Yes, we lost today, but we gave Arsenal a proper fight at the Emirates. For the first time in a while, I went into a game against Arsenal genuinely believing we could win, and even after the defeat, I still feel good about this team. Emi Martínez was massive for us today. He kept us in the game on several occasions, and I’m so glad we have a goalkeeper like him now. He showed exactly why bringing him in was so important. 🔵🧤 There’s still a lot to improve, especially defensively, but the mentality, the attacking threat and the fight are there. We take the lessons, build on this and move forward. This team is going somewhere. 💙
