Top of the screen — sudden & explosive release and route from Makai Lemon on what was his final catch of the night. Tough after the catch, as well. Ballplayer.

The Eagles had 30 pass rush opportunities tonight. They were credited with a grand total of four pressures as a team, led by Arnold Ebiketie who had two. Ugly, ugly night for Vic Fangio's group.

The absence of Nolan Smith has been felt tonight against the run. Arnold Ebiketie is a situational pass-rusher and he's been on the field for 33 snaps already. The interior hasn't been good either, but Ebiketie has been washed out of plays on multiple occasions, as has Jihaad Campbell.

This is just all instincts and awareness of the situation executing at an elite level. So good from Quinyon Mitchell.

As the Panthers did last week with Tet McMillan in the slot, Dallas got a big body, elite WR on Drew Mukuba in a 1-1 opportunity there with George Pickens. Teams watch tape.

I know Dallas' defense has struggled all year, but in the best way this offense is completely unrecognizable. The stretch run game is there, and they've showed some power looks behind Mailata/Dickerson. More shotgun, and increased stacks/bunches/pre-snap movement from all eligibles (RBs/TEs/WRs). Execution in the red zone as well. Very good stuff from Sean Mannion.

Note from warmups with Kendall/McKee/Barkley — zero snaps from under center. They’ve mixed it up the last few weeks, not today. All out of shotgun.

Saquon Barkley’s likely return is good news, but I want to see increased variety in terms of volume and touches tonight against Dallas. Some thoughts on 26, Josh Grizzard’s role, and more.⤵️

The Eagles’ offensive collapse goes far beyond the QB position. From schematic limitations to a non-existent run game and a failure to adjust, the Eagles have no easy answers. What’s gone wrong and how did it get to this point? New for @NBCSPhilly 📰⤵️ nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nf…

The NFC East in 2027 is going to look very, very different. Changes are coming in abundance across the division.

Commanders spread it out and allowed Jayden Daniels to win with his arm/legs down the field the entire 2nd half but run a draw to Jeremy McNichols on 3-3 in the red zone, taking the ball out of their best players hands when it mattered most. Head scratcher.

The lack of attention to detail and adjustments from week-to-week is staggering in this Eagles offensive tape. Biggest thing again from yesterday is the predictability and lack of execution when under center that really should lead to them just potentially canning that whole act. The Eagles will also not straight dropback and pass. Not even to just show a look, they just don’t do it… at all. It’s always either a run or a play-action fake allowing defenses to blitz at will without the fear of countering a quick hitter. Teams watch tape!! You have to make adjustments and it shouldn’t take six weeks to do so. It’s an operation that has some of the rules/alignment/personnel that makes the Shanahan offense operate, but seemingly zero idea into how to execute it. It’s plays on a sheet and that’s about it. Zero sequencing, zero execution, zero adjustments, head scratching blocking assignments(not just the OL), it really is unfortunate how we’ve even reached this point.

Pre-camp you heard that the wide zone ground game will open up play-action from under center to access the middle of the field on shallow/intermediate routes taking advantage of LBs to get WRs/TEs in open space. Shanahan/McVay staple. Well… here’s the middle of the field in Week 6. Everything outside the numbers. Mostly everything from shotgun. And a non-existent ground game that isn’t even a threat.

There are many factors that can affect usage/volume, but it's really a shame how this Eagles offense is using Makai Lemon. I think he's run upwards of 10 five-yard sit routes today, there's been minimal pre-snap movement in/out of stacks or bunches to work into free releases, zero opportunities to attack over the middle of the field (what he did best at USC), just a vanilla, High School-like route tree and overall offensive structure for the Eagles. Away from even just having the opportunity to target him, conceptually it just flat out isn't good enough. You're losing reps before the ball is even snapped.
