Tyson Trimble

I'm incredibly honored & humbled to get this opportunity as head football coach of the Jenks Trojans. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Butterfield, Dr. Beyer, Dana Ezell, the members of the Jenks School Board, Coach Martin, Coach Culler, Coach Nightingale, Coach Riggs, Mr. Beiler, @OkEricFox & the rest of the Jenks administration for entrusting me to lead this legendary program. I’d like to thank Coach Riggs for bringing my family & I here to Jenks & trusting me to lead the Trojan defense the past 6 years. As a DC, I know how difficult that was & I appreciate his belief in me. I am forever grateful & loyal to him. I would also like to thank all of my mentors that have helped me achieve this dream by supporting me throughout my career. Without their guidance and encouragement, I wouldn't be here today. Thank you to our coaches. Without their time & effort they invest in our young men & this program, our success is not possible. I’d like to thank my brother, @guy_gaylor. He is the reason I got into coaching. I have looked up to him since I was very young. I learned to love football from him. He taught me how to draw X’s & O’s, modeled how to build lasting relationships with players, & that you need to coach with passion. Thank you for teaching me the importance of football. Thanks to my father & mother-in-laws. Their love & support have allowed me to chase my dream of coaching. My father-in-law, @RickTrimble1, continues to be a role model & mentor of mine both as a coach & husband. Thanks to our booster club. The absolute best one in the state of Oklahoma! We could not ask for a better group of men & women! To the players, thank you to this outstanding group of seniors. I cannot express how grateful I am for all of you. I love you all. To the guys coming back, my goal is to continue the championship tradition that was started by Coach Trimble and continued by Coach Riggs. We will have a culture built on hard work, discipline, accountability, teamwork, aggression & grit. You will continue to be built into great young men on & off the field. We will be the most physical football team in the state of Oklahoma. Lastly but certainly not least, I’d like to thank my wife Kinsey, daughter Addyson, & son Cason. Without them I am nothing. They are my everything. Thank you for your patience, support, & love through all the ups & downs of these past 22 years. I love you all with all my heart. @MrsCoachGaylor has been & continues to be an inspiration for me. Her strength has been on display for a long time but it was taken to another level over the last couple of years while she dominated cancer. Her determination, grit, fight, toughness, & never flinch attitude has not only inspired me but also everyone around her. I love you eternally. I'm eager to get to work & build on the rich, championship tradition of Jenks Football. GO TROJANS!
