When illegal migrants are killed, resources are mobilised and the media gives the issue extensive coverage. But when South Africans lose their lives, where is the same urgency, attention, and outcry? Do South African lives not deserve the same level of concern, justice, and protection? Every life matters, but our own people should never feel forgotten in their own country.
