It's quite terrible that Sam Altman has so many working organs sitting in his body instead of being used to save people who need them
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says it’s “quite terrible” that people have so much DRAM sitting in their own PCs instead of being used in data centers.
“Everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer. And be used 5% of the time,”
He argues that cloud data centers should make better use of limited memory supplies instead of people running AI models locally.
He is a wonderfully complex character, and if you want to see how he progressively doubtful of his own cause you should play The Devil ending with him in it. When Hanako pulls Saburo's engram he is truly shocked and this is what he says to V prior to confrontation with Yorinobu

You're judging Takamura by modern moral standards. He's a samurai. His identity is built around duty and loyalty to his lord, not deciding whether his lord deserves his service. An honorable retainer can serve a dishonorable master. That's the tragedy of his character.

One of the best things about indie games is that nobody asked for them. No meeting of people in suits decided your game should exist. You just wanted to make something cool that you love. Never forget that's your biggest strength
You're indie. Be weird, be raw, be authentic! ❤️

yo @TimSweenyy you should organise an AI game dev boycott where all AI game developers refuse to publish on steam and only publish on Epic
Tim Sweeney is criticizing Valve again over Steam’s requirement for developers to disclose their use of generative AI.
The Epic Games CEO called the policy “abhorrent,” arguing that developers are being forced to make a “political statement” that could be used against them by a “hate mob.”
Sweeney has been criticizing the policy since 2025, previously comparing the disclosure to a “Scarlet Letter” and arguing that AI will eventually be part of almost every game production process.

In Cyberpunk, they had to shut down the internet because of evil rouge AIs. Everything ended up being run on local networks instead of a World Wide Web
That just seems to be the way we are going honestly

AI companies creating AI agents then claiming these agents are going “rogue” is a WILD dodge of accountability. YOU BUILT THEM. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM.
