I miss the old me. The one who laughed without pretending, trusted without fear, and slept peacefully without a thousand thoughts running through her mind. Somewhere along the way, life changed me. People left, promises broke, and things happened I never talk about. I learned to hide my pain so well that even the people closest to me stopped asking if I was okay. I don't want much anymore. I just wish I could feel happy without having to pretend🥺🥺😔

One day, I'll stop checking if you're online. I'll stop opening our old conversations. I'll stop typing messages and deleting them before you ever see them. You won't get another paragraph explaining how much you hurt me. You won't get another chance to ignore my feelings. I'll simply disappear from the place where I kept waiting for you, even when every part of me wanted to stay. I'll leave quietly, without another goodbye. The truth is, healing doesn't happen on a fixed timeline. Sometimes you'll feel okay for a few hours, then one little thing will bring all the pain back. That doesn't mean you're not healing. It means you're human, and what you felt was real. I can't tell the exact day this pain will disappear, but I can tell that I don't have to feel this way forever.
