The boys 4x800m of Dean Semski, Simon Gerber, Max LeMay, & Mitchell Ford placed 3rd overall in 8:06.41, while Semski teamed with Quinn Murray, Victor Okanlawon, & Aedan Aspaas to place 4th in the Distance Medley Relay (10:53.01)!
Junior xc season comes to an end. Finished with a time of 16:37 in the 5k. Track is going to be something special. Time for some time off and then back to the grind.

Coach Jarnigan addressed the football team prior to team dinner yesterday, and his words have been echoing off the walls of AHS since. There were too many highlights to note, but one segment stood out:
“Loch ness monster. Bigfoot. Yeti. The Kraken. Those are fictional tales for children. I’m not here to tell you a bedtime story. I’m here to drop a truth bomb. See this beard? Get a good look. This is real, the stuff legends are made of. Looking like Sasquatch doesn’t make you one. Just ask Coach Hankins and Coach Richards.”
Not all legends are 100% true, but almost all are built on something factual. Be real like Coach Jarnigan’s beard. Facts are better than fantasy.
