I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.

I’m the CEO of Product Hunt and see 100s of launches a week. My current thoughts on new infra begging for startups:
1) Voice AI - infra for voice agents is getting really good w @pipecat_ai @Vapi_AI @DeepgramAI @ElevenLabs et al. and yet I rarely see good voice tech in the real world.
2) Decision Models - Jev / @typesafeai leading the charge. It reminds me of the mech-building in Zelda TOTK - an explosion of possibilities!
3) Personal Agents - they work now. And they need tools, apps, MCPs.
4) Extensions (OpenAI). We all live in agentic interfaces now. It’s like a new platform. Someone needs to build a Slack replacement that lives in Codex, for example.

One of the best things that AgentWeb is good at is finding buyer intent on platforms like LinkedIn, X and others....
instead of having a daily digest that people will never read, you can ask your agent to use AgentWeb (you can get an api key, or your agent can) and then you ask it to analyze your profile, identify who your ideal buyers are, and it can let your agent take actions on your behalf that were previously not possible

The reality is that every one of these solutions is optimizing for the wrong component
An agent never needs a visual and training a model on how to use a computer is not the most effective strategy imo
If you’re looking for something use cases that can bypass bot protection, can handle requests at massive scale and volume and you don’t want to migrate to an entirely new product, give us a shout :)
