I watched a video of a Somali lowering the Kenyan flag and replacing it with the Somali flag on Kenyan soil. This is not the first time such incidents have happened.
We embrace Kenyan Somalis as our own. We will never discriminate against them, but we will also not tolerate disrespect towards our country from anyone whose allegiance lies elsewhere.
If you are a Kenyan Somali, you are Kenyan just like I am, and your allegiance should be to Kenya. If you feel the need to pledge your allegiance to Somalia, then go to Eastleigh, board the next bus to North Eastern, cross the border and do that nonsense in Somalia, not on Kenyan soil!
