While OSCE/ODIHR preliminary report highlighted plethora of serious problems with 2024 elections in 🇬🇪, it stopped short of labeling election as fraudulent, raising the question: “How much fraud is too much fraud?” Read more in article by Ryan Sherman 👇 civil.ge/archives/633218

Sanewashing news stories. Shrugging at excesses. Ignoring mental deterioration. Refusing to endorse, making his threat seem trivial. Marching on the road to fascism. All by those he deemed enemy of the people.
What @GregTSargent notices I have noticed too. Have you? Trump's free pass (if he wins) is taken for granted. newrepublic.com/article/1875… "The fact that he will cancel prosecutions of himself is a standalone alarming story in its own right. It’s almost always mentioned in passing."

Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia. 4 countries, but one major problem: Russia. Russia interfering and invading its neighbors makes it so obvious that no agreement or treaty can solve this problem. It is part of Russia's imperial ambition and culture. You cannot negotiate that away, you have to make it. Anyone claiming that this can be solved through negotiations is either unaware of the magnitude of the problem Russia poses or simply lying. Ukraine is the focal point of that struggle and it will be determined there, if Europe and the West altogether will be free or subject to another series of dictatorships sweeping across the continent. It is the single-greatest fight of our times.

Gakharia - For Georgia party leader, ex-PM Giorgi Gakharia held a briefing stating that the will of the Georgian people was violated in the elections, but noted, “Now is not the time of hopelessness […] we must all turn to the smart forms of protest, which will be aimed first and foremost at protecting the choice of our citizens, protecting the European future of our country, and protecting the electoral institution as such.”

"Official" results based on 70% of the votes being counted: the exact opposite ,53% for the pro-Russian Georgian Dream. I hate to be right in this case, but it appears that the Kremlin plan for crude vote rigging is in motion.
European Georgia is winning with 52 % despite attempts to rigg elections and without votes from the diaspora 👍🇬🇪🇪🇺
