Graduated from @UCSFMedicine two weeks ago surrounded by the team who has lifted me every step of the way. Everything because of you ❤️
Having know @Abdi_Abdullahi_ for 5 years, I can truly say there is no one more deserving. Thrilled to be at @BrighamWomens bound together in just a few short weeks!
As President of the @UCSFMedicine, #GoldHeadedCaneSociety it was my honor to present the Class of 2023 winner. This year’s winner was Abdikarin Abdullahi. Congratulations and thanks @UCSF for your support! @UCSFSurgery. Great Class of 2023 Convocation.

Presented at a high school today about becoming a doctor. My favorite Qs:
“What are you doing to right historical wrongs in medicine?”
“What is your favorite organ and you can’t say the uterus.”
Love sharing my passion for #obgyn with the next generation! The future is bright
We are Boston bound! Honored to continue my #obgyn training at Brigham/Mass Gen. Deep gratitude for the family who crossed oceans for me, mentors who invested in me, and patients who inspired me. Can't wait for a lifetime of serving my community! #Match2023
The view while I certified my rank list for #obgynmatch #Match2023. Grateful is an understatement!
Finished my last rotation as medical student, and my last page was: "Patient would like to tell you that he is proud of you." Grateful to @UCSFMedicine for 5 years of growth and learning, and to the patients who make it all worth it. #medtwitter #Match2023

Excited to see @JSATjournal changed their name. The evidence is clear that use of the term substance “abuse” is associated with overly negative and punitive perceptions of those that use drugs or are experiencing substance use disorders.

The Oasis is so important as a safe and supportive housing option for families experiencing #homelessness in #SanFrancisco. It is the only low-barrier shelter that allows couples and families to enter and stay together in SF. @sfgov we need to protect this vital resource!
Uplifting this article to bring awareness to the closing of The Oasis Inn: San Francisco families experiencing homelessness deserve safe and supportive housing.

Working on a project about perinatal mortality and let me just say this: Gun violence is absolutely a public health issue that affects our pregnant and postpartum patients.
I think about this paper in @greenjrnl from February often.

Important work from @WashU_OBGYN - urine toxicology testing for isolated marijuana use rarely results in identification of other substances, but frequently results in calls to child welfare. It’s time to rethink how we use testing on L&D #obgyntwitter
