Almost six years ago, I presented “Return to Play” for FootballScoop. “Map to the Snap” was one slide from that presentation, but it captured the central idea.
Football has continued moving toward this type of integrated planning. Looking back, the most valuable part wasn’t the specific model. It was learning to see the entire pathway.
I wouldn’t use this exact model today. Experience has refined my methods, sequencing, monitoring, and decision-making. But the thought process remains:
