I tried playing ‘Streets of Rage3’’MOON’ with Megasynthesis. At the time (1993), I wanted to add a fast hi-hat to a song with a slow tempo, so I made this song for that reason. I thought it would be interesting to have a sound like that in a game song.
Nowadays, there are many songs that use 32 beats instead of 16 beats, such as Dubstep, Trap, or Drum and Bass, but this may have been a pioneering approach.
