EDGE marks three major milestones in the AL DORRA programme for the Kuwait Naval Force, with the keel laying of the third vessel and steel cutting of the fourth and fifth vessels at ST Engineering Marine’s Benoi Yard in Singapore. Building on the AED 9 billion contract signed between EDGE and the Kuwait Ministry of Defence in June 2025, these developments highlight the programme’s steady advancement and reaffirm the enduring strategic partnership between the UAE and Kuwait.

EDGE, the UAE Ministry of Defence, the Brazilian Army and IMBEL are establishing a framework for cooperation in land force modernisation, technology transfer and industrial development, supporting Brazil’s defence modernisation and domestic industrial capabilities.
