the initial correct answer was for shorty to lead her friend up to the auxiliary parking area that she was fully aware of, let her friend park, then let her friend get in her car and going down and parking in her own paid space closer to her apartment.

I’m so confused by all the people saying talk to her… how was she supposed to know whose car that was? The towed one knew what door to visit bc she knew what spot she took but how would OP know who’s in her spot?

Anyone thinking the lady who towed the car was in the wrong is weird. They BOTH live in the same apartments meaning they BOTH know you must pay for the parking spot. If you gave yours to your guest, why would you think its acceptable to park your car in a stranger's spot??
