I'm cancelling all of my Claude subscriptions ($550 in total). Not because Claude is a terrible model. Claude is the BEST one out there. I just feel that I'm always internally forced to max out the limits. And if I'm not doing that, i feel unproductive. This really fucks up the creativity side of the business i think. i'm giving myself 15 more days, after that shifting to 1x $100 subscription. and that too will mostly be running my existing loops & crons. anyone else feel ... "dragged/pulled" by Claude when the limits aren't exhausted yet?

the hardest part of building my Mac app was the words, not the code ✍️ the words CPU, process, daemon and kernel never show up anywhere in it. every message opens with the answer, like "This is why your Mac is heating up: Chrome." numbers only come after that, in small print. and nothing ever makes you feel like you did something wrong. steal these if you build for people who aren't technical.

Weird day. Got a warning from one platform (not Linkedin). Felt shit. Then my (new) email automation for people who saw billing page but didn’t buy is converting really well. Made $400 from it in last 24 hours by just emailing the people who saw it in the last 6 days. Why did I not have it in place before? I’m happy but also feel stupid. Such an obvious thing to do. Left so much money on the table 🫠

We just shipped Carousel Studio in LigoSocial. The idea came from our own research. We went through 134,522 LinkedIn posts and saw that when someone told their advice as a story, it got 38% more engagement than when the same person posted it as a list of tips. So the studio starts from a tips post you already wrote and asks you what actually happened. In the video it's a client who said "we felt unheard" after a call where one person did all the talking. You pick a look, it builds the slides, and you post it or schedule it.

SEO Hack for Claude: Ask it to "curl bingbot" your live page (or localhost version) and compare the result with your page's raw html/js file. If there's any block that is not being retrieved, fix it. --- Ciao

Apple rejected the app because it thinks the prices are too high 🫠🫠 how do i tell them i've got users paying that for over 2 years now with over 30% on the annual plans should i take this as a compliment?

the highest intent leads on linkedin are sitting in the posts tab. almost every sales team only ever searches people someone writing "can anyone recommend a tool for X, we're on Y" has a budget, a deadline and no vendor yet here's how to find them every day in 15 min > the searches search bar → posts tab → sort by latest → past week - ("looking for" OR "any recommendations") AND [your category] - ("switching from" OR "moving off" OR "alternative to") [competitor] - ("what do you use for" OR "what tool") AND [use case] - ("frustrated with" OR "anyone else hate") [competitor] - boolean in free search changes now and then. test each string and check it actually narrows results. most reliable in sales navigator > what makes it real intent - a constraint: budget, stack, team size, deadline - "we're on hubspot, 12 people, need this live by Q1" = hot - searching your category name alone mostly returns vendors talking to each other > the leads nobody collects - the author is one lead - people commenting "following" or "same problem here" are more - people asking sharp questions under a competitor's launch post are mid-evaluation > other saved searches worth running - new VP / head-of: first 90 days = new budget - hiring for a role your product replaces. the job post lists their tools and pain - just raised: SEC EDGAR form D filings often show it weeks before the press release > how to reach out - reply publicly within 24-48h. these posts pull 30-100 replies, late = invisible - actually be useful. name a competitor if it fits better - then connect. 2026 data: invites without a note get accepted slightly more (28-30% vs 24-28%). notes get more replies after acceptance - free accounts only get ~3 personalized notes a month, 200 chars. save them for the hottest ones - no published weekly invite cap, usually ~100-200 depending on the account - stay manual. automation tools break linkedin's user agreement > the 15 min routine - run the 4 saved searches - reply to 3-5 posts - connect with the author + the 2 best commenters bookmark this and put a 15 min block on your calendar for tomorrow morning

product hunt's login with x now asks for permission to post, delete, follow and unfollow on your account. just to log in. a login needs your handle and your avatar. that's it. either nobody at product hunt looked at this screen or somebody did and shipped it anyway. both are bad. and founders still treat this site like launch day gospel. 4 weeks of prep, then you beg your friends, customers and followers to sign in so you can get an upvote, and every one of them hands write access to their account to a site they'll visit once. stop sending your people there. a launch platform that treats your audience like inventory doesn't get my audience.
Product Hunt permissions to Login with X went absolutely mental Safer to not even use it anymore then?

reddit is the #1 cited site in chatgpt, perplexity and gemini answers right now ahrefs, sept 2026, share of top-50 citations: - gemini: 28.5% - perplexity: 21.6% - chatgpt: 16.8% here's how to find the exact threads AI cites for your buyers' questions and get into them without getting banned > 1. find the threads - write 10-20 prompts your buyer would actually type. "best X for Y", "X vs Y", "alternatives to X" - run each in chatgpt, perplexity, gemini and google AI mode - open the sources. paste every reddit URL into a sheet with the engine + date - repeat next week. keep threads that show up twice. one day is noise - second list: google "[your keyword] reddit" and note which threads rank top 5. those get traffic for years > 2. what kind of thread gets cited semrush looked at 248k reddit posts cited in AI search - over half were plain Q&A threads. then comparisons - most had under 20 upvotes and under 20 comments a small, quiet, 2 year old thread can be the one chatgpt paraphrases. no viral post needed caveat: on pure buying prompts ("best crm for agencies") AI leans on listicles. one scan of 343 'best X' prompts: 77% listicles, 2% reddit. check your own prompts first > 3. warm the account first - personal account. normal username, never your product name - avatar + short bio - weeks 1-2: comments only, zero links, in 5-8 subs where your buyers hang out - ~50-100 comment karma on a 3-4 week old account clears most business sub gates - read every sub's rules + pinned posts. some ban promo, some have weekly promo threads > 4. the comment that gets picked up - answer the question fully first. numbers, steps, your actual setup - mention your product as one option. name competitors honestly - disclose it: "i work on this" - skip the link unless the sub allows it. AI paraphrases the text anyway - keep self-promo under ~10% of everything you post > 5. don't - buy aged accounts or upvotes. reddit flags vote rings in real time and the FTC fake reviews rule covers it - sell in r/SaaS. that's other founders. go where your customers are - forget to check your comments in incognito monthly. shadowbans don't notify you > track it re-run your prompts every month. log which threads still get cited and whether your comment made it into the answer bookmark this for the next time someone asks "how do we show up in chatgpt"

trump wants 'AI' banned and replaced with 'SI'. elon already renamed xai to spacexsi founders, please don't touch your landing page people search 'ai tool for X'. nobody is typing 'super intelligence invoice software'. you'd be throwing away every keyword, every backlink anchor and every chatgpt citation you've earned to follow a naming order that only covers federal agencies the startups that rebrand to SI this month are telling you they care more about vibes than distribution

google search console has a regex filter and it's the closest thing you'll get to seeing how people talk to AI about your niche most people never click it. 5 filters you can paste today > where it is - performance → search results → + add filter → query → custom (regex) - set the date range to 3 months+. small sites, 6 - it's RE2, case-insensitive, matches anywhere unless you use ^ or $ > 1. prompt-style queries (10+ words) ^(?:\S+\s+){9,}\S+$ - these read like chatgpt prompts. "which crm is best for a 5 person agency that already uses gmail and..." - every one is a FAQ block or a new page - small site? change {9,} to {6,} > 2. long questions ^(who|what|where|when|why|how|which|is|are|can|does|do|should)\s(\S+\s+){5,}\S+$ - sort by impressions. the top 20 are your next 20 H2s > 3. people talking to google like a chatbot ^(help me|give me|show me|explain|compare|recommend|suggest|act as) - yes these show up. google says AI mode searches run ~3x longer than normal ones > 4. money queries (pricing|price|cost|vs|alternative|review|best) - what's left is the stuff that pays. fix these pages first > 5. remove your brand - choose "doesn't match regex" and enter (yourbrand|your brand) - brand queries hide your real content gaps > the part regex can't do gsc has no filter for position or CTR. so: - apply the regex, sort by impressions, export - position 8-20 with real impressions = striking distance. add the exact question as an H2, answer it in 2 lines, link to the page internally - top 10 with low CTR = rewrite the title + meta - impressions with 0 clicks = your work list for the quarter one site built dedicated pages for just its position 8-15 keywords. 200 → 2k monthly visits in 6 weeks > gotchas - \w and \b break on accented letters. for non-english queries use \s and \S - regex filters drop anonymized queries, so totals shrink. compare filtered to filtered only - a long query could come from AI mode or a human typing a lot. either way it's how your buyers phrase things now bookmark this, open search console and paste filter #1. takes 2 minutes

marc vibe coded his own beehiiv to get off their pricing and turned it into a whole content run one of his own customers just ran the same playbook on him. one upgrade popup and 23 sites moved off datafast to a hetzner box in a single morning when your brand is 'saas is dead, just clone it', you're training your audience to churn. they started with you the founders who win the next 2 years are the ones who make leaving feel stupid, and none of them are posting clone speedruns
😅 @marclou inspired me by churning from Beehiiv to vibe-code his own newsletter tool so when DataFast hit me with an upgrade popup yesterday, I pulled a Marc on Marc 😭 moved all 23 sites to my own Hetzner server in one morning: 🧰 backfilled 3.6M visitors + 7,600 Stripe/Polar payments across 23 sites 🚀 12x–225x faster queries (benchmarked from 1,152ms → 92ms) 📊 ripped out Recharts for native SVG (bundle 536kB → 96kB) 🔌 custom Stripe, Polar, GSC & ClickHouse connectors 🤖 direct MCP access for my coding agents 🇪🇺 100% first-party on EU Hetzner (no 3rd-party sub-processors, no GDPR headaches, no adblockers) 💸 $0/mo, unlimited events honestly it's just more responsible to self-host your analytics anyway, you own the raw visitor + payment data instead of leaking it to a 3rd party and can ensure you fix all the latest security dependency issues and your Stripe keys don't leak and you can make improvements for your specific stack he was right: once you have a server and an agent, you don't click "upgrade plan" anymore SaaS-pocalypse

bing quietly shipped the closest thing we have to a search console for AI answers and almost nobody i know has opened it it's free and takes 10 min. full setup below > step 1: get in - go to bing.com/webmasters - hit "import from google search console". pulls your sites + sitemaps in one click, no DNS dance - submit your sitemap anyway > step 2: open AI Performance (left sidebar) shows how often copilot, bing's AI summaries and some partner AI products cite your pages - total citations - which URLs get cited - grounding queries grounding queries are the gold. they're the phrases the AI itself searched with when it pulled your page. that's the wording you should be writing in > step 3: topics portfolio (beta, shipped oct 13) - groups those queries into topics - "opportunity queries" = queries where competitors get cited and you don't, with rough citation volume that's a free list of content briefs. ranked > step 4: make sur AI bots can actually read you - robots.txt: allow OAI-SearchBot (chatgpt search), PerplexityBot, bingbot - GPTBot is training only. separate decision - on cloudflare: check AI crawl settings have search bots on allow, then open your live /robots.txt. cloudflare can inject its own lines - check WAF rules + bot fight mode too. they override everything above > step 5: turn on indexnow - most CMSs have a plugin. on cloudflare it's the "crawler hints" toggle - every page update pings bing instantly instead of waiting for a crawl > the weekly loop - export the AI Performance CSV - take the top 10 opportunity queries - for each one: add a direct 40-60 word answer + a table to an existing page, or write a new page - re-check citations in 2-3 weeks honest caveat: this covers copilot + bing. openai doesn't say chatgpt uses bing, so treat it as a strong signal for how AI retrieval phrases things everyone optimizing for "AI search" right now is guessing at prompts. this is the one free place showing you real ones bookmark this and do it before friday

gavin baker runs a fund and he's up to 17 grok bots. he said he burned hours gluing stuff together with claude code first and called it user error i don't buy the user error part. claude code was built for engineers who enjoy wiring things. most founders don't want a harness, a terminal and a weekend of debugging. they want the inbox read, the crm updated and the follow-up sent i cancelled $550 of claude subs this month and haven't missed it once if you're still calling agents hype while fund managers run 17 of them, you're going to be the last person at your company doing work a bot could do
Gavin Baker says Grok Bot is the most impactful AI product he and his firm have had yet, and reveals he’s up to 17 Grok Bots “I mean, as a user, Grok Bot is the most impactful AI product to me and to the firm that we’ve had yet. I glued together all this stuff with Claude Code, and I’m sure it was user error on my part, you know, 50 years old. I’m doing my best." "But Grok Bot, it just makes it so easy. I think I’m up to like 17 Grok Bots. And every day I think of a new one to add.”

marc cloned beehiiv, open sourced it and bragged it grew 9x faster than datafast 72 hours later datafast gets cloned for $29 lifetime, then for free, and the ceo of beehiiv is in the quotes cheering this is the most deserved plot twist of the year you can't start a clone war on someone else's product and expect the timeline to cry when it hits yours. tyler just played the game marc invented
signs that your SaaS is vulnerable to be displaced: > unspecialized software > lack of focus from team / founder > minimal domain expertise on the team > price is the only differentiator > no proprietary data or network effects > zero switching costs > it's a feature, not a platform > zero brand equity > no relationships outside the codebase (partners, providers, industry) > non-existent support shoutout to @ahmedgagan11 for identifying an opportunity and crushing the launch 🎉
