5.9M S burned! 🔥
As previously communicated, unclaimed tokens from the Sonic airdrop were scheduled to be burned.
On October 15, the burn was triggered permissionlessly onchain, permanently removing 5.9M S from circulation.

Welcome @TheSpartanGroup 🤝
Sonic welcomes The Spartan Group as the newest validator on the Sonic network.
Founded in 2017, Spartan is one of the most active investors and advisors in Web3, and their decision to secure the network is a strong vote of confidence in where Sonic is headed.
Every independent validator strengthens the network's security and decentralization, and we're glad to have Spartan participating as Sonic moves into its next phase.
Welcome, @TheSpartanGroup.

I think one of the biggest misconceptions around agents is that the main challenge is simply making them smarter.
The harder problem might be trust.
It is one thing to ask AI to summarize something or give you a recommendation.
It is another thing entirely to give an agent access to your wallet, email, calendar, business systems, or money and allow it to take action on your behalf.
At that point, permissions, guardrails, context, and reliable execution become just as important as intelligence.
That is also where a lot of the infrastructure we are working on at Sonic starts to become interesting.
V2.2 will bring sponsored transactions, helping make execution easier for users and agents.
Atomic transaction bundles can help ensure multi-step actions either fully complete or do not execute at all.
Early innings still.
Listening in on this...
It seems like trust is one of the final hurdles to overcome when it comes to AI agents.
Yes, you can set limits for your agents, like only giving them $100 to use for certain actions.
But do you trust them to use it efficiently?
Great convo.

Sonic V2.2 doubles smart contract size limits, giving developers more capacity for application logic and features.
Here’s what changes and why it matters for builders.
It’s honestly been super cool getting on calls with so many of these founders and learning more about what they are building.
You can feel not only the depth of their experience, but also their hunger to keep pushing forward and succeed.
You have to admire those who build. They place bets on where the world is heading and choose to create solutions for it.
Sometimes those solutions work, and sometimes they don’t.
But that’s the beauty of building: learning, adapting, and figuring out what works.
When we started working on 10X Founders Demo Day v2.0, the goal was simple: create a stage worth showing up for
Over 600K impressions across our own posts. More than 2M views across the Web3 community, shared across founder, partner, media and community channels. And 1,000+ reposts from people who genuinely supported the event and the teams behind it 🙌
But the numbers only tell part of the story
Anyone can prepare a pitch. Not everyone can defend it live, with no notes and no second take. Our judges didn't hold back on stage and @IncDeploi didn't flinch once 🔥
The feedback since has been overwhelmingly positive, and we've been genuinely grateful for every message, repost and reaction 💚 That's what made the day feel bigger than a single Demo Day
Once again, congratulations to @IncDeploi on taking the win 🏆 We're excited to watch the team build from here, and we'll share more about their journey soon
Thank you again to the partners, judges and everyone who made 10X Founders Demo Day v2.0 happen 🌱

Got a chance to be at Google's Web3 AI Summit yesterday with @MrMinter
Agentic commerce is here, but we're very early.
A big topic was security.
How can we best optimize agentic functions when handling $?
Who's the main user demo?
Are harnesses going to be useful in the future?
Good chats happening.
