Times like this are when you start paying attention to the communities that continue to show up every single day.
The ones that keep raiding X, TikTok, Twitch, and bagworking IRL, regardless of macro conditions or short-term price action.
Because as we’ve seen time and time again, when it flips, it flips fast. And you’re going to wish you had been paying attention.

The trenches are calling @vladtenev , and this is exactly where I think @flywheelcash has a genuinely different approach....
Most launchpads eventually introduce their own token and build an economy around it.....
Flywheel has taken a different route. There is no official Flywheel token. Instead of asking the community to buy another platform token to participate in the upside, Flywheel focuses on putting value back into the ecosystem itself....
Here's what makes it interesting:
1. Real rewards: Every swap carries a 4% fee. 2.95% goes toward ETH rewards for holders when a project is in holder mode, or to the creator otherwise.....
People who support projects and hold through the journey can actually receive a share of the activity they help generate....
2. Ecosystem wide buybacks: A portion of platform revenue is allocated to a reserve that buys and burns the top 10 memes in the Flywheel ecosystem.....
That means the platform is actively putting value back into the projects and communities building on it, rather than concentrating everything around a platform token....
3. Deflationary mechanics: Individual token burns and platform funded buybacks create another layer of support for the ecosystem.....
The goal is to reward participation and strengthen the projects that are generating activity....
4. Built for more than quick launches: Flexible asset pairings, locked liquidity, graduation mechanics and on chain transparency give projects room to build something beyond a short lived launch....
The bigger idea is simple.....
Flywheel doesn't need its own token to create value for its ecosystem....
Its model is designed to distribute value through rewards, buybacks and burns across the communities using the platform....
That's the part I find most compelling. Instead of just competing for launches, Flywheel is trying to build an ecosystem where the people who stay, build and participate have a reason to keep showing up.....
The trenches need better incentives, not another ticker.....
That's what makes Flywheel worth watching....

Choosing which Solana community coins to support comes down to individual taste, budget, and how you understand each narrative.
Some of the coins on this list are already multicycle survivors. Others are newer communities that have the potential to dominate the next wave of community coin revival.
One thing they all have in common: hardworking communities.
This list is based solely on observing raiding activity. No price predictions, rankings, or endorsements. Just recognition of communities that consistently show up and put in the work.

there’s been growing frustration around @Pumpfun callout rewards, and i personally won’t stay silent about this until the structure changes.
first, this isn’t a fud post. it’s constructive criticism from someone who wants to see pumpfun succeed. it’s the market leader, and with that comes responsibility for shaping the culture, incentives and future of this space.
the same people keep getting rewarded for recycling attention within the same circle, while holders and communities doing the actual work of building ecosystems get nothing.
this is becoming a serious retention problem. the current incentives encourage users to jump from one callout to another instead of giving them reasons to stay, hold, build and reinvest and destroying the trenches.
and i don’t think macro is a sufficient explanation for where onchain is today. one year ago, the macro environment was arguably even worse, yet onchain was doing much better, especially during the pumpfolio era.
even coin-level rewards aren’t solving the problem. liquidity and trading activity can migrate to external pools, including meteora pools where pumpfun’s trading fee mechanism doesn’t apply. pumpfun can end up losing the economic benefit of activity generated by coins launched on its platform.
the rewards model needs to evolve beyond just general callouts.
at least basics i’d like to see two additional reward categories:
1. holding time
reward wallets for holding coins consistently over time. longer holding periods should mean greater rewards, rather than simply rewarding whoever generates the most short-term activity.
2. repeated calls
reward people who consistently support the same communities and coins over time, rather than accounts farming one-off callouts and moving on to the next opportunity.
imagine the difference in incentives. instead of rewarding people for constantly switching attention, reward them for staying committed and helping communities grow. this will make volume in trenches much higher, and attract more users.
pumpfun is focusing on acquisition. now retention needs to become the priority.
acquisition without retention is a leaky bucket.
i want to invite other communities, builders and everyone who cares about the future of the trenches to join and support this petition.
this isn’t about attacking pumpfun. it’s about asking the market leader to evolve its incentives and help rebuild an ecosystem where people have reasons to stay, build and believe.

Imagine a normie downloading @Pumpfun and the first thing they see is this callouts page.
This callouts tab needs to be removed as a Default tab and add something like Top or OG coins tab.
Where all the top established memes that survived through the blood needs to be shown.
This way the strong communities can hit higher ceilings, normies win, memes win. If normies win, more normies get’s onboarded.
i don’t think onboarding through larp influencers is going to work in these conditions.
several of my relatives who are completely removed from crypto called me today and yesterday asking about the $6b binance hack.
think about that. people who don’t follow crypto, don’t know what’s happening onchain and have zero interest in memecoins are hearing about crypto through scandals.
these people used to asking me about crypto when bitcoin and alts pumped tho
you can’t fix that by paying more people to pretend they’re excited about crypto if there r no success cases.
we need genuine success stories, people making money, communities worth joining and reasons for normies to believe there’s something here for them.

it’s not about baton. everyone is free to exit whenever they want, for whatever reason.
just don’t preach conviction and loyalty when you’re the one flipping your convictions 10 times a day depending on where the wind blows.

if i was @Pumpfun, i’d pause all callout rewards for now and redirect that budget into community memes.
retention should be the priority right now, not acquisition.
there’s a principle in brand building: in times of growth, brands compete for attention. in times of crisis, they compete for loyalty.
another thing i’ve noticed: the same familiar faces keep appearing on leaderboards. but are we actually recruiting new users or just redistributing attention within the same existing circle?
callout rewards can buy temporary visibility, but they don’t necessarily expand the ecosystem.
i’d rather see that budget go towards communities creating original memes, like was glass full foundation one year ago.
strong communities create belonging, recurring engagement, organic distribution and network effects. they become their own acquisition channels.
you don’t build long-term brand equity by constantly buying attention. you build it by investing in the people who make your ecosystem worth coming back to.
