The layoffs will continue until video games improve
Don’t Nod, the studio behind the original Life is Strange, is collapsing.
The French developer is facing a near-total layoff, up to 85 jobs, which would leave its French teams with only a small number of employees.
The studio has struggled with a string of underperforming releases, the most recently the sci-fi adventure Aphelion.
Don’t Nod has warned that it may not have enough funding to continue operating beyond January 31, 2027, and has entered a French “safeguard” procedure to restructure its finances.

These people are the loudest on Twitter but the actual game is full of chuds too. It's basically TF2's playerbase all over again.

Explains the obsession with roleplaying as the characters. Honestly, I'd feel bad for them if they weren't so annoying.
Imagine throwing the match because someone called you a bad word in a PvP game instead of just muting him. How do these manchildren even function in real life?
some cunt was being transphobic and ruined our match so we just started hanging out #deadlock
This is the main reason why so many AAA games suck these days. Not microtransactions or horse armor DLC, but cultural parasites being hired on the basis of political leaning instead of merit.
So many more studios need to fall before the industry recovers from this cancer.

I guess I can say it now - so when applicants would apply to the studio, the producer would go through their LinkedIn to see what posts they liked, and if he disagreed with their political/social Like, he'd advocate not to hire them based on their Like.
