The Road Accident Fund (RAF) should not exist. People should get their own accident insurance & it shouldn't be covered by everyone pouring fuel. Especially in this forced way.
RAF levy on every litre of fuel is R2.25. The avg vehicle pours 100 litres per month. That's R225 per month.
About 70mln litres are sold every day... that's R157mln made by RAF every day.
The biggest single payout has been R500mln to a Swiss billionaire.
