'Blue Planet III' will deliberately include murkier and less polished underwater footage to assure viewers it's real and not AI-generated 🌊
The David Attenborough-narrated series won't feature a single AI-generated frame

You prompted a model in a security-sensitive environment, investigated it with forced command completions, and framed the results as evidence of a hidden backdoor.
Then you layered on geopolitical fearmongering, repeatedly emphasizing China and Beijing to imply state-sponsored espionage without proving it.
That’s not evidence of a backdoor. That’s a security observation turned into competitive and geopolitical FUD.
Publish the original prompts, full traces, and reproducible results. Let the evidence speak for itself.
While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected.
Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions.
Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent.
But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models?
We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem.

Ah yes, let's rely on COPILOT of all things instead of humans
BREAKING: Microsoft, $MSFT, is offering buyouts to around 60,000 employees, according to reports from Business Insider and Bloomberg.
The move marks Microsoft’s latest efforts to cut costs and rework its workforce for AI.
Employees at the vice president level and below on select teams in the U.S., Canada, India, and the U.K. will be eligible, the reports say. Some employees, including those working in data centers, sales and marketing, are excluded.

If not a Neo-Nazi why Nazi shaped? I’m not a historian but it seems like keeping “Germany German” was tried before by a fellow with a funny mustache who also had a penchant for propaganda.
Replying to @artinlenz @mark_k
Ethnic proportions are important. Selective, limited immigration can be good for an economy. But keeping Germany primarily German (and Denmark primarily Danish and Japan primarily Japanese) is still key.

The headline doesn't state this was from an Anthropic Bug Bounty program.
It's also unusual that this was released precisely when Anthropic announced today they filed for an IPO to trade as ANT.
Id be interested in reading the write-up from these "ex-DOGE cyber researchers". Until then I am concerned this is a hit piece.
EXCLUSIVE: In less than 12 hours, a group of ex-DOGE cyber researchers were able to penetrate Anthropic’s systems using AI agents — including Slack channels where the most sensitive models are discussed.
This is just weeks after
Anthropic whistleblower Joseph Coxon charged the company w/launching “a hubristic gamble” from a “private company’s Slack.”

Never mind the fact that women were literally the pioneers of software engineering. Hell, women were the ones who did the calculations and wrote the software that took us to the moon.
Having a worldview based on societal gender norms is so stupid.
Replying to @paul_e_jones
The biological differences in sentiments and interests of the average man and the average woman are so obvious that you have to study for many years to become so stupid as to question them.
