One small Suffolk village. Now a mega hub for energy infrastructure: 2 lines of 400kv pylons, 2 more proposed; substations; converter station; batteries; solar. All exposed in the event of hostile action, but no-one is listening:

Proud of my cabinet visiting a Suffolk farm today to promote #backbritishfarmingday. We understand how important our farming community is, and that’s why we have implemented stricter rules around the sale of farmland in Suffolk.
We must remember that No Farmers, No Food.
NFU Suffolk Vice Chair Olly Pratt spoke to @BBCSuffolk about farming's cashflow crisis, the need to rebuild industry confidence and the importance of #backbritishfarmingday to highlight issues and celebrate farmers.
He spoke before an engagement event with county councillors.

The Government has withdrawn its decision on Local Government Reorganisation in Suffolk.
This is a huge victory for Suffolk.
When the Government tried to force through a future for our county that we believed was wrong, Reform UK stood up and fought back. We challenged them when others would not, because Suffolk’s future should be decided in the interests of the people who live here.
We said we would fight for Suffolk, and that is exactly what we have done.
Now we can look to the future with renewed optimism and hope. We have an opportunity to put this uncertainty behind us, protect what makes Suffolk special and focus on delivering the better future our residents deserve.
Today, Suffolk has been heard.

Today, my Cabinet approved our decision to proceed with a Judicial Review challenging the Government’s Local Government Reorganisation plans.
We were elected to stand up for Suffolk, and that’s exactly what we’re doing. I then held a press conference explaining why we’re taking this action.
Suffolk County Council’s cabinet has agreed to pursue legal action against the Government following a meeting of its cabinet today (Monday June 29).
Watch Cllr @MichaelHadwen explain this decision and what it means for Suffolk.
