Somehow, in eight years of reviewing watches, Mike has never spent serious time with anything from Doxa — until now.
The Doxa Sub 300 Beta “Frogger,” created in partnership with California retailer Belmont Watches, pays tribute to the U.S. Navy’s history in Coronado with the Underwater Demolition Teams and SEALs, featuring a frogman-green, matte-cased Sub 300 with details from the popular Doxa Army.
They may be gone, but this is one worth watching out for. Head over to ABTW for Mike’s full review.

Parallax is the perceived shift in an object’s position when it is viewed from different angles, and Tsar Bomba has embraced this concept to inform the design of its latest horological creation — the Parallax.
Inspired by high-performance engineering and showcasing advanced materials like ceramic and carbon fiber, the Tsar Bomba Parallax is a distinctly modern triple calendar with the added functionality of an oversized power reserve indicator and a 24-hour display.
The Parallax’s futuristic case features a distinctly sculpted geometric profile that measures 43.2mm in diameter by 51.3mm in the lug-to-lug direction, while the overall height of the watch comes in at 14.1mm. Instead of having a single aperture for its front display, the Tsar Bomba Parallax separates its oversized power reserve indicator from the rest of its functions, and the complication appears through an arch-shaped window located at the top of the watch.
Powering the Parallax is the Miyota Caliber 9100, which operates at a rate of 4Hz with a 40-hour power reserve; however, the indicators for its day, month, and 24-hour displays have been modified to operate in an arc-shaped manner, which allows Tsar Bomba to create the Parallax’s multi-layered dial.
Each of the Parallax colorways is completed by a matching FKM rubber strap, seamlessly integrating with the sculptural silhouette of the model’s case via Tsar Bomba’s signature quick-release system, allowing owners to quickly change straps without the use of any tools.
All Tsar Bomba watches are united by their bold and inherently modern designs, but the Parallax adheres to a completely different aesthetic concept, and rather than emphasizing its mechanical internals like other models from the brand’s catalog, the Parallax maintains a futuristic tool-oriented instrument appearance.

Motorsports are Sean’s first love; naturally, the racing chronograph is his favorite type of watch. Unfortunately for him, many tend to lean into bold design and genre clichés.
Then there’s the Baume & Mercier Riviera Chronograph GPSI Limited Edition. Created in celebration of Baume & Mercier’s status as official timekeeper of the 2026 Gran Premio Storico d’Italia, the LE offers a 41mm stainless steel case with an integrated bracelet and 100m water resistance for a package that ignores most of the rules surrounding racing chronographs and succeeds anyway.

The 57.05 Comet features a 40mm stainless steel case and matching, patent-pending bezel that accounts for daylight saving time. The dial’s 24-hour disc rotates with the passage of time, adding another playful layer to the 57.05 Comet’s quiver.

Designed to capture the glamor of two of history’s most powerful women, Cleopatra VII of Egypt and Eleanor of Aquitaine, the new Perrelet Cleopatra and Eleonore elevate the brand’s signature double rotor complication into glimmering art, adorned with both sculptural forms and thoughtfully integrated diamonds.
Long famed for its show-stopping double rotor system, Perrelet has explored many different variations of these kinetic designs. Its latest foray into high jewelry marks two of its most brilliant, elegant expressions of this rotating assembly to date.
Both watches share the same fully polished Grade 5 titanium case design. Measuring in at 36.5mm wide and 12.9mm thick, it combines soft feminine curves with a larger wrist presence.
The Perrelet Cleopatra is the more sculptural of the pair with its rhodium-plated dial-side rotor dominated by an overlapping, wave-like fan motif, which introduces a sense of fluid rhythm into this rotor’s movement around the dial. Each “fan” adds a striking mother-of-pearl inlay, creating a beautiful contrast with the bright polish of their surroundings. Perrelet offers the Cleopatra in five sumptuous colors inspired by the beauty of ancient Egypt.
The dial of the Perrelet Eleonore is a bright, alluring cascade of diamonds. The dual rotor here is comprised of layers of diamond “droplets” radiating out from the center of the rhodium-plated assembly, covering nearly half the dial with diamond-set spectacle. Each colorway draws from Eleanor of Aquitaine’s medieval world, and her reign as both queen of France and England.
Both the Cleopatra and the Eleonore are powered by the in-house Perrelet P-181-H automatic movement sporting the brand’s patented double rotor technology. Perrelet fits the Cleopatra and the Eleonore with a matching five-link bracelet in Grade 5 titanium.
The double rotor system has been Perrelet’s signature feature for years. Despite its many varied interpretations, the Cleopatra and the Eleonore stand as perhaps the most elegant interpretations of this technology to date.

Swiss-made watches are back at Fossil. The new Signature CS-1 collection introduces two distinct models pairing Swiss movements with a design philosophy inspired by mid-century modern architecture.
The stainless steel cases feature sculpted profiles, defined lugs, and contrasting polished and brushed surfaces. The Signature CS-1 Three-Hand Date Automatic measures 38mm in diameter, with a domed sapphire crystal, 100 meters water resistance, and three dial colorways inspired by vinyl records.
Conversely, the Signature CS-1 Master Calendar Chronoquartz has a larger 42mm case. Its caseback is decorated with Fossil’s Triple Diamond Quality insignia, representing Fossil’s past, present, and future. The upper chronograph pusher also features a colored accent, echoing the small touches of color found throughout the collection.

*Technically* the Glashütte Original 70s is the Swatch Group’s flagship contender in the integrated-bracelet sports watch arms race, leading its stablemates in price, finishing, and refinement. Yet the conversation almost completely ignores it.
With a new dial inspired by vintage audio equipment, a revised date window, and the in-house Caliber 36 automatic, it’s more broadly appealing than ever, with German pedigree to match.
