#DorchesterCountySC Fire Rescue is on-scene working a fully involved structure fire at Key West Boats at 593 Ridgeville Road. Highway 27/Ridgeville Road is closed to all traffic. Lightening strike is believed to be the cause. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

#DCFR recently received equipment purchased with a FEMA grant to outfit ten firefighters in complete water gear. The funds were used to outfit ten firefighters in complete water gear to better equip them to respond to emergencies in the county’s waterways. bit.ly/2LopuIm

At 10:45 AM, today March 19, #DorchesterCountySC Fire Rescue received an alarm for a structure fire at 100 Dogwood Trail in Harleyville. Crews arrived at 10:49 AM & found an unoccupied mobile home with smoke/fire conditions. #DCFR controlled the fire in less than 10 minutes.
