I toss them treats here and there. I'm not the old man that throws bread every day, but about once a week I'll toss some jerky that I made, or some cheese, or even the last two pieces of of pastrami left, after making a sandwich. Remember, this is only every couple of weeks...
Today I came home to a walnut in my patio. It was an old one. I haven't seen any walnut trees in my area, ever!
Having read about corvids and their intelligence, I cracked it open and put it on the fence with cheese.
I heard them 'crackling' in the background. I'll see what happens.
This wasn't a prime, store-walnut. It looked nasty. But once I cracked it, it looked pretty good.
