It has saddened us all greatly that an artist invited to Ireland by us, particularly an artist coming from a war zone for a brief moment of respite, should have experienced this ❤️

How we laughed at Del Boy's "Peckham Spring Water" back in 92'. With 2.51bn litres of bottled water drunk in the UK in 2021 averaging 50 litres per person, I guess the joke is wearing thin.

Sarah paints the most life affirming portraits of detransitioners - for this ko-fi has closed her account as ‘transphobic’, any suggestions of alternatives?

This is HUGE! This research needs to be connected to #careethics and Nancy Chodorow's work. Amazing. Pregnancy and birth/motherhood have structural brain effects almost as massive and consequential as puberty!

“Ballet has strongly gendered roots in terms of the movement vocabulary.”🙄
Good thing I got to study classical ballet with Irine Fokine (niece of choreographer Michel Fokine) before the entire art form got canceled.
@RosieKayK2CO — have you seen this?

There are deeper issues here- the lack of low cost good dance provision for children, no dance in schools, grassroots good dance schools disappearing. Ballet is for all but it’s become the domain of the privileged child. That should be tackled- and ballet companies could help.
