Funnily enough, the real problem isn't actually Prewett. Being bested by her, Rab could've lived with (as embarrassing as it was). But what really has her shaken was the fact the /Narcissa/ of all people crucio'd her.

So she may or may not have called Bellatrix 'Batty Bella'. It's not trash talking, merely a term of endearment for her future sister in law.

It's not like being the family disappointment is a new thing for Rab anyway.

"Please, go ahead," Rab scoffs as her shoulders drop slightly, eyes clenching tightly shut as a wave of pain and nausea rolls through her. "It's not like anybody would care if you did. They'd probably all be happier without me around."

Because.... they're /Gryffindors/. That should be explanation enough.

"I didn't think you'd crucio me, you psycho! Perhaps there's more crazy in your family than just Batty Bella." She really shouldn't be poking the bear considering how much pain she's still currently in, but... it's a reflexive response from her.

"Thank Merlin, because I'd hate to be between them," Rab says, watching Eileen go before releasing a sigh of relief. That did not go as she'd expected.

Eventually, Rab bursts into the dorm with a glare that have put Narcissa in a coffin if looks could kill. "What the fuck, Black?!"

"You wish you were lucky enough to have me between your legs," Rab grumbles as she retrieves her wand and grips it protectively.

Why on earth would she want to be friends with a Gryffindor?

With a grunt, Rab scrambles towards her wand as soon as the binding spell is released. "Fuck you, Prewett."

Oh good, he isn't the first. Why doesn't he pull up a seat with Rab's parents and Pandora at the 'don't give a shit about Rab' table?

The pain doesn't subside enough for Rab to move for about an hour, and even then it is still coursing through her although it's bearable enough for her to push herself to her feet and stumble to the Slytherin common room.
