My work had a prom themed Christmas party last night and it was a million times better than my real prom was. Also, I loved rocking my version of a tux at prom.

I got another “We don’t know what’s wrong with Lola” phone call from the vet. I’m almost out of money for vet visits/tests. And Honey chewed up two pairs of shoes and knocked Lola’s bowl off of the table and it shattered. I’m losing my goddamn mind. 🙃
We won’t know the full results of Lola’s MRI until probably Friday, but they did tell me that there’s nothing glaringly wrong that would warrant rushing into surgery and it also doesn’t look like she has cancer 🙌🏼
The neurologist just called and asked to reschedule Lola’s MRI from tomorrow to Tuesday to deal with some emergency patients. And like, I get it and of course I said yes. But the thought of going another week without answers makes me feel like I’m going to lose my goddamn mind
I was stress crying about my dog’s health issues when the doorbell rang. It was two Jehovah’s witnesses. They asked me how my day was and I burst into tears which made them very uncomfortable. 10/10 would recommend for dealing with solicitors/Jehovah’s witnesses at your door.
I listened to a really sweet voicemail from my mom on speaker in the break room at work and it made me and two of my coworkers cry. I’m so grateful for my mom 😭💕
Watching my sweet dog struggle to use her back legs is killing me. I’ve cried so many times in the last few days. I don’t want to leave the house in case something happens, but sitting and waiting is not helping my anxiety either. I just want to know what’s wrong and help her.

Three years ago, I got out of a week long stay in a psychiatric hospital. When I went in and even for awhile after I got out, I was sure I would end my own life.
Three years later, life is so good, I almost can’t believe it’s real. I’m so grateful that I’m here to see it.
I’m not saying it’s easy. It has taken years, an incredible counselor, meds, a lot of head and heart work, and having wonderful family and friends (both old and new) to walk this journey with me to get to this point. It has taken a lot of honesty, vulnerability, and grace as well
