Everyone analyzes sluttiness through an individualistic lens, but the real problem with sluttiness is that, at a certain scale, it sort of ruins the game theory of dating for everyone. The more sluts there are in the dating pool, the less incentivized highly desirable men are to commit to any woman in particular, and the more likely it is that the average man will have to be married to an ex-slut (i.e., a bitter woman who chose to exit the game and settle) who in all likelihoods will be incapable of loving him. Furthermore, because more women are willing to put out, women who don’t are at a disadvantage and come across as prude or cold.
