If I can offer an observation, 20+ years into my software career: Long term, your kindness and helpfulness are vastly more impactful than your technical skills. People will remember how you made them feel. They're much less likely to remember that awesome function you wrote.

If the masks work, why do we need 6ft? If the 6ft works, why do we need a mask?

Since π²/6=∏(1-1/p²)⁻¹ , the irrationality of π² implies the infinitude of primes. A finite product of rationals will always be rational.

People are worried about the fact that Zoom encrypts with ECB. This is bad, and it’s a red flag for crypto — but compared to sending the encryption keys to Chinese servers, it is basically a parking citation.

🔥 When things get closer they cover more of what’s behind them, which means they shouldn’t be perfectly aligned with things in the background. We can emulate this in UI design by slightly offsetting elevated elements so they extend beyond the edges of the elements they conceal.

Me and @steveschoger have spent 30+ hours agonizing over subtle alignment issues, browser inconsistencies, and debating every approach imaginable to constructing the perfect form control, but today I think we finally cracked the last detail 😍 Tailwind UI is gonna be insane 🤙🏻

The last REST API that I have to deal with on a daily basis is from @PaddleHQ and it's fucking frustrating. REST takes so much guessing and retrying I wanna punch a door. Even the best docs in the world cannot help. Choose GraphQL by default, it's 2020.

👋 I have been quiet for the last couple of weeks because I decided to put all my answers to all the "it depends" questions about React in a small book. It's about 30% but it's been proofread about 300 times so I think it's ready to be shared. 🚀 leanpub.com/opinionated-guid…
