I served in the Army/ NG and my kids serve in the Army and NG. That being said, the Marine Corps birthday messages go so hard. This year is no exception. They have the secret sauce for love of Country and Corp and it’s a lifelong change.

I don’t claim to be an expert on anything. My opinion..I agree Nidal Malik Hasan should pay for his actions. That being said televising his execution will make him a martyr, the images will aid radicalization, and make us no better than that which we fight.

I’m having Honey Maid S’mores cereal for dinner. You can’t tell me I’m not living the best years of my life.
My parents prepared me for many of life’s temptations and snares. No one prepared me for being an adult and having unchecked access to egg nog. Knowing it’s in the fridge and the desire to try and drink the entire quart at one sitting is becoming too much.
