I understand that Zack was in attendance albeit in the background and that the party was ineligible to lay a wreath due to the six MP rule.
However I do question the wearing of a white poppy. I get it, I do, but some things really don't require us to constantly pursue a virtue signalling holier than thou test. That's all it tells me, while every single soul is content to wear a red poppy in solidarity, someone just can't bring themselves to do exactly the same.
It dilutes and cheapens the meaning of the occasion. A simple act of symbolism can't be got right.
