we have to cook for our neighbors, look out for kids that arent ours, shovel each others driveways & pick up our friends from work even if it’s cold outside; especially if it’s cold. when we keep to ourselves it only gets colder. we need to stay close. we need to be the warmth.

The RI Department of State Elections Division today announced that mail ballot applications are now available for voters participating in the Presidential Preference Primary. Registered voters can apply for a mail ballot using a paper form or the RI Department of State’s online mail ballot application portal. To use the online application, requestors must be registered Rhode Island voters with a valid Rhode Island-issued driver's license or State identification card. The online mail ballot application portal can be accessed online, in English and in Spanish, at vote.ri.gov. All voters who request a mail ballot receive a physical, printed ballot, regardless of whether they request the ballot via paper form or through the online portal. The deadline to register to vote and update your voter information in order to be eligible to vote in the Presidential Preference Primary is March 3, 2024. The deadline to request a mail ballot for the Presidential Preference Primary is March 12, 2024.

Today is Special Primary Day in Rhode Island for residents in Congressional District One, Foster, and State Senate District One! Go to vote.ri.gov to find your polling place if you live in a community with a special election.

There are two ways to apply for a mail ballot in Rhode Island:  1) online at vote.ri.gov or 2) by sending a paper application to your local board of canvassers. Applications must be received by August 15.
