Think he’s the only one who’s gotten both Crosby and Ovie to fight him.

If you told me back then that'd we'd get 15 more years of Sid I would've never believed you I can't wait for him to retire and leave my team the hell alone finally lmao, but the man's greatness is special to witness

The between the benches guy cannot be the color guy simultaneously. Play by play shouldn’t be bantering with him. You need a play by play, a color, and a between the benches is a nice to have. He has a specific job. If the benches guy is color, it’s takes away from the point.

After the whistle, when the color shines, Oshie is just trying to keep up with the banter - there effectively no color. Oshie is talented and can do either one, he can’t do both.

Yeah, given their personnel, I suspect Colorado had the puck a lot. Unless there is a MacKinnon/Makar on the market, you still need to separate from the puck, etc.

The Rangers led the NHL in hits! None of Colorado, Dallas, Carolina, Buffalo, Tampa Bay were in the top-half of the league. Colorado ranked 31st! How are we still doing this?

We witnessed one of the most amazing moments you'll ever see at a high school event tonight at Schneider Arena. Colin Dorgan, who lost his mother, brother & grandfather in the Lynch Arena shooting last month, scores a 2OT game-winner to send his team to the @RIIL_sports D-II championship game. Incredible resilience from this young man & this BVS team. Fortunate to call this emotional moment with Marty Crowley tonight on the NFHS Network. @SRASaints @PCDAthletics @Fic27

It is so hard to follow college baseball, literally just trying to figure out UVA roster 5 innings into the game and this is what ESPN gives me. No box score no rosters.

I used to like Pitchfork until I grew up and realized liking things wasn’t actually unsophisticated and their unearned gatekeeping decayed the culture. And their writing was more overwrought and bad than any music they criticized.

This band peaked exactly when Pitchfork was at its apex in terms of deciding taste and the website basically destroyed their careers by tearing their debut album apart after hyping up their EP for months.

It’s amazing how bad this game is, but it’s certainly not an anomaly. This is every NFL game. Collinsworth is talking about his experience at the concession stand with 2:21 left of what will be the most viewed US sporting event of the year.

At what point is the horrendous product the NFL puts on the field every year going to outweigh the ease of its format for gambling and fantasy sports which has carried/manufactured its success for over a decade?

He skates in significantly more confined environment both by dimension and 5 other people actively trying to slow him down. On an unimpeded 400M track he’d be a complete menace.

McDavid’s top speed this year is 24.61 MPH (per nhl edge stats) Long track speed skating top speed are 36mph If you gave McDavid their equipment and time to train do we think he could be a gold medal guy in this sport or is too different ?

Romantically I loved the idea of Drury, but he inherited a team ready for an ECF with a Vezina trophy guy, Norris guy, MVP caliber guy, 50 goal guy, 1 and 2 overall guys Now we are retooling? What happened to the guys? Where’d everyone go and what’d we get for them?

A Message from Chris Drury to Our Fans
A Message from Chris Drury to Our Fans: We wanted to take a moment to connect with our loyal and passionate fanbase. We know and feel your disappointment with how the season has gone to this point. We are just as frustrated and want nothing more than to deliver an on-ice product you can be proud of - it’s what drives us every day. No one in the organization is happy with what has transpired – from management, to coaches, to players. Over the last few years, we’ve had some successes and moments to cherish, but ultimately it was not the end goal. We are working relentlessly every day to bring a Stanley Cup back to New York because that is what our fans deserve. With our position in the standings and injuries to key players this season, we must be honest and realistic about our situation. We are not going to stand pat - a shift will give us the ability to be smart and opportunistic as we retool the team. This will not be a rebuild. This will be a retool built around our core players

And a 1C that is the #1 in ES, PP, and PK (don’t know that Ranger fans understand how rare that is)

I don’t understand the 4 on 4 regroup in the neutral zone when you’ve got 2 guys below the goal line and you’re not out yet. 3 on 3 really made people overthink things.

I’ve been off of here awhile but based on the reaction the past 24 hrs it seems those who clearly don’t watch the Rangers - or look at the numbers! - don’t realize how good he is defensively.

With THAT roster they have to send Othmann down on an entry level for cap reasons? What an incredible series of unforced errors in the last 18 months that lead to this.

According to a source, #NYR will be recalling Brett Berard, Anton Blidh and Justin Dowling. They're also placing Conor Sheary on LTIR and sending Brennan Othmann back to AHL Hartford. They needed to demote Othmann to make the cap work due to his bonus structure.
