Dit is een officiële mail van een schoolrector afkomstig van een school in Eindhoven. De jeugdpolitie slaat alarm omdat er op social media actieve oproepen rondgaan naar Nederlandse scholieren om op straat te gaan rellen en plunderen, in navolging van de heftige onrust in Frankrijk.
Nu we zien dat scholen door heel Nederland noodgedwongen moeten waarschuwen voor naderende Franse rellen en online ophitsing onder de jeugd, dacht ik heel even: "Moeten we ons ernstig zorgen gaan maken?" Maar gelukkig schoot me ineens te binnen wie we momenteel in het Catshuis hebben zitten. Onze minister-president Rob Jetten zelf.
Wat een opluchting! Met Rob aan het roer als premier hoeven we absoluut niet bang te zijn dat hier de openbare orde explodeert zoals in Frankrijk. Iedereen weet inmiddels dat als er iémand in de geschiedenis van het Torentje bekendstaat om zijn snoeiharde, no-nonsense wetshandhaving en angstaanjagende daadkracht op straat, het onze minister-president wel is.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer has been digging into the Minnesota Democrat’s finances and family history.
One detail stands out: her husband Tim Mynett’s former California winery (eStCru) sold investors barrels of wine to be aged, yet the barrels were empty. The business later shut down amid fraud claims.
Omar’s own disclosures once listed Mynett’s stake in the winery at $1–5 million. After scrutiny, the figure was amended sharply downward and blamed on an “accounting error” that listed assets without liabilities. Comer has said the discrepancies, the winery, and related issues present multiple fronts where investigators could obtain search warrants.
At the same time, a federal immigration fraud probe is advancing. Agents raided Omar’s D.C. home. Reports indicate no naturalization record exists for her father, the man through whom she claimed U.S. citizenship.
There are also questions about her reported birth year (her office requested a change in public records) and longstanding allegations involving her marital history. DNA evidence has reportedly been collected as part of the investigation.
Empty barrels. Missing immigration records. Massive unexplained swings in reported wealth.
The evidence is leaning toward both financial fraud and immigration fraud. The questions Omar’s team tried to bury are now the ones driving the probes.
