Days like this fill me with anger and frustration at the sheer venality and brutality of our elected officials. People are dying and these people are trying to get political mileage #YogiAdityanath #indiacovid
Things that UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is doing today -A ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new covid hospital complete with plenty of saffron balloons -Equipping every cow shed with oximeters and thermal scanners for the cows UP: 25,858 new cases ystday m.timesofindia.com/city/luck…

Time for the annual DNA-can-detect-#depression story.
Together, 13 RNA markers form the basis of a blood test that can diagnose depression and predict who will go on to develop bipolar disorder econ.st/3ujVPSu
Not to mention the huge costs for the security entourage to each of these trips.
Our prime minister, hard at work.
It boggles my mind how #IPL2021 is still going on despite all the trauma everywhere #COVID19India

I agree on all counts except pls attack only GoI coz states have already said they feel cheated that they are being made to pay more than Centre for what is effectively the same thing - public procurement.
It is the government's responsibility to give the vaccine for free to those who can't afford it. It is our responsibility to pay for it if we can afford it. If you have grievances, attack the central/state govt, not the guy who is selling a life saving vaccine at Rs 300-600/dose.

While we talk about the surge and horror in India it is important to keep in mind that hundreds of lives can be saved if systems are put in place. The govt ought to listen to doctors on the frontline atleast now! @RemaNagarajan
Delhi's doctors, tired of seeing people with a good chance of survival die due to lack of any system in place, lack of beds, reliable patient transport etc. are begging govt to put a system in place Here 👇are their suggestions for urgent triage to reduce deaths
