In the past century, all regimes obsessed with antisemitism and antizionism, which have consequently supported the Palestinian cause of no Jewish state, have found themselves in the dustbin of history: Nazi, Pan-Arabist, Soviet. The Ayatollah regime will meet the same fate. The only disturbing question, looking at the history of its antisemitic and antizionist predecessors, is how much damage it will cause Jews on its way to the dustbin of history. We have to make sure it is as little as possible...

How Wikipedia Rewrote Zionism
Since October 2023, four-fifths of the encyclopedia’s article on Zionism has been replaced. And work of editors who have been banned from the page remains.

To celebrate the birthday of William Shakespeare, I’m sharing a few lines from my most favorite sonnet, Sonnet 116. I’ve converted a few of my friends to its cause, and I’m hoping you’re next. Cheers!

Bioware has been a massive part of CDPR history. We befriended them when localizing and selling Baldur’s Gate games in Poland, Czech, and Slovakia. And later they were great help when lending us their engine for Witcher 1, sharing their wisdom and even giving us a spot at their booth at E3. I had a pleasure to visit them a few times in Edmonton and also host them in our Warsaw office. Very sad for the people affected, but also sad to see a legendary brand go down. Not a great day in the games industry.

WATCH & READ:
A man’s kneecap was shattered after he was sucker punched at an anti-Israel demonstration marking the three-year anniversary of October 7.
This is a potentially life-altering injury. The suspect remains at large after fleeing the scene with encouragement from his comrades.
In the aftermath, some have attempted to blame the victim (“He was there to antagonize,” “He asked for a fight”), while others have dug up evidence of his perceived political indiscretions to rationalize the violence.
In an interview with Adam Zivo, recorded months before this incident, lawyer, journalist, and protest watcher Caryma Sa’d accurately predicts further escalation within the protest circuit and examines an underreported ecosystem shaping Canada’s political landscape.

Carelessly and casually labelling fellow citizens as “Nazis” and “fascists” is how political violence takes root on our streets.
Police are largely indifferent to this form of incitement, and conspicuously absent when rhetoric predictably escalates into violence.

More defaced election signs.
Baselessly labelling one of two frontrunner candidates a “Nazi” is absurd enough. But labelling citizens “fascists” for putting up a lawn sign is deeply disturbing.
This does not bode well for Canadian democracy.
The incident has been reported to both police and the B’nai Brith hotline.

After the Green Party's "Zionism is Racism" vote, the Leader of Haringey Council, which is controlled by the Greens, wrote to various Synagogues in the borough to "reassure" them.

I'm glad that we can finally confirm that a shooting that took place in front of a synagogue, on Yom Kippur, was motivated by antisemitism
Belleville police confirm Sunday’s synagogue shooting was a premeditated, hate-motivated attack targeting the Jewish community on Yom Kippur
Watch video at the end of clip of the exchange of gunfire
About 25 worshippers were gathering at Sons of Jacob Synagogue when 29-year-old Sean Ward opened fire on Const. Jeff Smith, who was stationed outside. In video shown by police, the suspect can be heard yelling a hate-motivated remark before shooting
Chief Murray Rodd said the attacker “had the means, the motive and the mechanisms to cause a mass casualty and the destruction of the Jewish synagogue.” Combustible materials and extra weapons/ammo were found

Lazy work used to mean too little output.
Now, with AI, it often means too much and more work for everyone else.
@tobi call it "slop grenades."
A "Slop Grenade" is when you let AI produce the work and pass it on without adding any value (including checking it).
Someone else has to wade through it, catch the mistakes, and clean up the mess.
You save time and look productive but someone else pays for it.

Psychotic, pro-terror Canadian universities is one of several problems that Mark Carney could solve in an afternoon if he felt like it. Hell, Doug Ford could mostly solve it in a day or two. I cannot begin to stress how much Canada has become addicted to fear and inaction.

I want to congratulate Canada’s Advisory Council on Rights, Equality and Inclusion on completing its first meeting. 6 months after replacing the country’s dedicated combatting antisemitism envoy and 2 months after being told by PM Carney that antisemitism was its urgent priority, members report they are still getting to know each other. No agenda or work plan.
By happy coincidence, a survey commissioned by that abolished envoy was published this week: 96% of 🇨🇦 Jewish students encountered antisemitism on campus, and one in five reported physical violence.
The dead office is outworking the live one.
Federal panel assigned February 4th to combat #antiSemitism has convened one meeting with no agenda or work plan. “We are getting to know each other.”
