narrative violation: preferences will swing back from DIY vibe-coded software to super secure industry-leading SaaS solutions.
while it's super easy to build anything, endlessly protecting and securing it is super hard...and teams want to sleep at night.

this is the founding spirit of California, the conviction that something that doesn’t yet exist will, and that the world will discover it wants that thing once it does
which is why this description of Hollywood describes Silicon Valley equally well
"As digital channels become more saturated and increasingly mediated by algorithms and AI, awareness and familiarity ahead of all that becomes even more valuable. Premium, even." adquick.beehiiv.com/p/the-in…
Texas and Ohio have each topped $500M in Senate race ad spending this cycle.
As political dollars flow down-ballot, digital OOH offers campaigns a powerful advantage: geographic precision, fast deployment, and the flexibility to change creative as races and issues evolve.

Advertising might be one of the only industries where you can still come in with a completely unrelated degree from a whatever-tier school and still do really well for yourself in the long run imho.

When talking about the impact of agents on Brands, commerce, disintermediation, the purchase funnel etc
We should be mindful that there are many things that logically the internet should have changed but did not.
In theory
- physical shops would have vanished en mass.
- Everything would come down to price.
- Real estate agents or travel agents would be disintermediated.
- We'd buy things based on reviews not brands
- We'd pick better things and be more involved and happily pay more
What underpins all marketing is human behavior.
And human behavior is a bit weird.
We're not as bothered by efficiency as we assume we are.
We don't even make remotely logical decisions.
We're not especially predictable either.

I run an out of home software company, so I wondered how often founders on David Senra's shows talk about it.
We transcribed all of Founders and David Senra (250 hours, 3.1M words). Not often: 32 mentions in 223 episodes.
But when someone takes a side, it's positive 14 of 17 times.
We transcribed 3.1M words of @davidsenra to see how founders actually talk about out of home. Start with Revolut and the airports, stay for Ted Turner's unsold billboards.
Happy Thursday. On today's show:
- @icecube (BIG3)
- @arthurquerou (Vibe Co)
- @lukeigel (Kino AI)
- @jakeserval (Serval)
- @jayanthmadhesw1 (Eve Legal)
- Jared Allen (NFL Hall of Famer)
- David Rader (UNA Sports)
See you on the stream.
