A Deputy Minister (Dr. Jack Bloom) is abusing his privileged status in government by using government information to promote narrow party interests. We are honestly in big trouble with this party, the DA. They then call any coalition without them chaotic when they are the masters of chaos!

The DA Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation, who has sat in all of the inter-governmental work to address the Bronkhorstspruit crisis, is now going to ambulance chase and campaign against the same inter-governmental efforts. No conflict there, nothing to see here folks.

Residents of Tshwane, today I spent my day at Dark City to amplify awareness with residents about the water issue impacting the Bronkhorstspruit Water Treatment Plant. Our health workers and peer educators spent much of the day interacting with residents and alerting them not to consume or utilise water supplied through the plant. The water must only be used to flush the toilet. Our health care workers will continue this outreach work throughout the week. We are committed to raising awareness about this important issue. @CityTshwane

I engaged with our health education teams on the importance of approaching affected residents with patience, compassion and understanding. Many families are understandably worried and frustrated. Our responsibility is not only to provide accurate public health information, but also to listen to their concerns, answer their questions and treat every resident with dignity and respect. How we engage with communities during a crisis matters just as much as the information we provide. We must ensure that no resident feels unheard or left behind. @CityTshwane
I’m at Dark City, Region 7, engaging public healthcare workers and peer educators who’ve been on the ground engaging community members as part of our ongoing response to the Bronkhorstspruit water crisis. The officials are armed with pamphlets that detail information on why residents should not consume or utilise water supplied from the Bronkhorstspruit Water Treatment Plant. @CityTshwane

Dr @nasiphim could easily shift the blame to ANC MMC for Water, but she's not. The bug stops with her, this is Leadership!!!
Tshwane runs out of chlorine at Bronko. Fails to inform public or do anything for 3 weeks. 400 people get sick. And now cholera bacteria is detected the water. Who benefits from Tshwane running out of chlorine for 3 weeks? The water tanker contractors who now have to step in.

I am on the ground at Dark City Clinic in Ekangala, Region 7, engaging public health workers and community members as part of our ongoing response to the Bronkhorstspruit water crisis. Together with senior City management, I am assessing the public health response, overseeing the provision of safe alternative drinking water and ensuring that residents receive the information and support they need. Our priority remains protecting affected communities, preventing further illness and restoring a safe and reliable water supply. @CityTshwane

I am deeply disappointed by the continued attempts by former Executive Mayor Cilliers Brink to exploit the water crisis in Bronkhorstspruit for political advantage, including through misleading claims about cholera. At a time when residents are understandably concerned about their health and safety, Mr Brink has chosen to amplify fears of another cholera outbreak without adequately explaining the scientific findings available to date. Let me be absolutely clear: cholera has not been identified as the cause of the gastrointestinal illness outbreak in Bronkhorstspruit. @CityTshwane

[Podcast] Today on #TheCMShow I asked DA mayoral candidate Cilliers Brink WHY he and his DA colleagues went on a raid of hijacked buildings and asked occupants if they can speak Afrikaans, to test if they are South African. I found it to be hypocritical because the same DA has previously criticised organisations that did so. They called it vigilantism. But when it’s them asking people “praat jy Afrikaans”?, it’s civic duty. LISTEN HERE omny.fm/shows/mid-morning-sh…

The polls must be getting to @CilliersB. After years in government, he’s suddenly discovered illegal immigration and is now staging raids for TikTok. As a “peace officer”, nogal. 🤣 Funny what being beaten by @NasiphiM in the polls can do. 👀
