I guess only Eddings truly knows whether he blew that call on purpose - in his defense, he is a terrible umpire - but this should at least get you suspended for the rest of the season. What are we doing here man?

Umpire Doug Eddings went on a power trip during the bottom of the 6th in the Cardinals Rockies game. First, he demanded that pitcher Hancel Rincon (in his MLB debut) straighten his hat since no one will wear a hat like that on "his field". When manager Oli Marmol went to talk to Eddings about the hat incident during a pitching change, Eddings gave the Cardinals a pitch clock violation and ejected Marmol. A couple batters later, with the Cardinals out of challenges, Eddings made a terrible call on a play at the plate to gift the Rockies the lead.

Christian Moore charged with an error on a fly ball to left. He overran it and it went off his glove. He played nine games in left in Triple-A this year.

Hurston Waldrep had some elbow discomfort this week. A MRI showed loose bodies, but the ligament seemed fine. He will see Dr. Meister this week. The Braves don’t know how long he might be out.
