Blue Springs High School welcomed Johnny Rowlands with the NewsChopper 9 helicopter this morning. The helicopter landed on the football field, and Johnny received a warm welcome from the @GRegiment, @BSHS_Cheer, @BSHSGlitterGirl, @wildcatsenate, and staff members. BSHS teachers were honored and thanked with Channel 9 mugs and bags as part of this back-to-school event.

The opening of the @WildcatsBSHS freshman addition was celebrated with a ribbon cutting this week. Event guests included past principals, staff, and members of our community. The expansion included nearly 40 new classrooms and a larger commons/lunch area.
Special thanks to the community who approved the addition on the 2021 bond issue. It’s going to be another great year to be a Wildcat!

Thanks to the community for approving the 2021 no-tax rate increase bond issue that included the Wildcat Aquatics Center on the campus of @WildcatsBSHS. The new and improved facility is complete and features an eight-lane lap pool, two diving boards, upgraded locker rooms, and elevated spectator seating. Also part of the project was an additional tennis court and pickleball courts for community use.
