Our 1st job is to be a *servant* leader. This section is difficult, keeping it together. Here you see me trying to be musical...but closely LISTENING and keeping strict time so that everyone feels safe and able to play their best. It’s not abt me

There is a very disturbing trend being seen in early voting. Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio are reporting difficulties getting the machines to accept democratic votes. The machines change them back to Republican unless the voter persists, pressing several times to get the correct vote to go through.
Check your machine, check to see that it accepted the correct vote. Make sure your voice counts.
if you ask gay people why non-monogamy unsettles them, you’ll often find that their objections are rooted in possessive notions of love and romantic attachment.
& the underlying arguments tend to be so deeply informed by unresolved trauma rather than any meaningful critique.

🚨🚨BREAKING: Dolly Parton’s sister, Stella Parton, says a Tennessee voting machine repeatedly switched her selection to Republican Marsha Blackburn, forcing her to correct her ballot THREE TIMES before voting. She’s not alone. Other Tennessee voters have reported similar problems while attempting to vote for Democrats.

Everybody who be saying this has a white partner or is swirl aspirant and I really can’t take them seriously.
I agree generally that the discussion can border on eugenics and even mirror the same talking points as white supremacists but at the same time…
The left should be working to takeover the Democratic Party. That’s crucial to any viable path to leftist climate hegemony. Not sure how overturning capitalism is possible, but party takeover isn’t. Not sure how a ballot tests your morality more than a violent revolution

Y’all do not like yourselves. That’s why everybody gotta come back to the office, you can’t go eat lunch or the movies alone, and your SO can’t go anywhere without you. You’re a loser and you know it, but you’ve decided to make it everyone else’s problem

🚨 BREAKING:
Hunt: "Do you believe Israel has a right to exist?"
Abd El-Sayed: "Now, the question of the right to exist is interesting, because I've never been asked whether I believe Palestine has a right to exist. Israel exists. The question is whether we want a policy where our money is sent to Israel to commit genocide and apartheid, rather than investing it in our children."

voting doesn’t constitute an alignment with either duopolistic establishment but okay

You care little about facing the ultra-nationalist movement if you’re unable to get your political party to divest from some of the same policies that’s actively giving that movement leverage and power

I’m no longer interested in debating the carousel of political nomenclatures with leftist or its etymology.
If you’re diluting the voting pool in any way towards the right-wing populist movement (i.e., fascists that quite literally incited an insurrection on the capitol) you’re pro-Trump

He’s correct. The American center is a far right position. Ideologically. Economically America is about as fascist as it gets. I don’t even know how this could be a really a controversial opinion. You can argue that it’s not fascist, sure, but liberalism is a precursor.

the contingency isn’t disputing “empire”, I’m contesting y’all understanding of fascism and the consequences of abandoning the ballot to ultranationalist right-wing populist movements
I don’t get into circular convo about “human” vs “the Human.” It’s pretty simple. We all share intrinsic features via evolution. That’s objective personhood. The sociopolitically recognized & intersubjective (sub)personhood is the problem. Idrc what you CALL the first.
The idea that you should not see voting as the peak or end of politics can be found everywhere from anarchism, black radicalism, to liberal legal theory. Per usual, yall aren’t say anything new. Voting ought to be part of a wider political ecology of varied engagement.
I have been debating voting with leftists since 2016. It’s been 10 years & not one soul has EVER presented a rational argument for NOT voting. Especially with neoconfederates on the ballot. NONE have EVER made sense. Not in a fucking decade.

Not voting is not inherently revolutionary lmao. You’re not more or less revolutionary for voting or not voting.
