One year ago today, the Ghost Ship warehouse fire in Oakland claimed the lives of 36 people, all actively involved in Bay Area arts. For many of us at @KQED, the 36 were also our friends — and we are proud to honor their contributions.

Honoring Those Lost in the Oakland Warehouse Fire

They were artists, musicians, sound engineers, DJs, events organizers and more. They came from the Bay and from around the world.
